Offstumped analyzed the timeline of accusations of Hindu Terror by Congress General Secretary and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh and it makes for an interesting analysis.
Offstumped had earlier today shown that the first time Digvijay Singh claimed he had concrete evidence of bomb making by Hindutva groups was in Sept 2003 at a Minorities Conference on the eve of elections in Madhya Pradesh.
Since Sept 2003 examined public news archives for references to this claim being repeated by Digvijay Singh.

Note by this time the 2006 Malegaon Blasts had already occured, the Hyderabad Mecca Blasts had occured, the Samjhauta Blasts had occured as well.
So when was it that Digivijay Singh reiterated these claims that he had only made back in Sept 2003.
In the thick of Gujarat Elections in December of 2007 Digivijay Singh once again raked up the issue of “Hindu Terrorists” which saw an immediate response from Narendra Modi. The Election Commission issues?a notice to Digvijay Singh on his remarks of Hindu Terrorism. Digivijay Singh then issues a denial to the EC that he had used the phrase “Hindu Terrorism”.
But something else also happened in the same month of December 2007.
The so called “Hindu Terrorist” that Digivijay Singh claimed he had concrete evidence and a confession for bomb making and who was the basis for Digvijay Singh to repeatedly make claims of “Hindu Terrorism” was mysteriously murdered in Madhya Pradesh.
Prohibitory orders were clamped on Dewas town, about 200 km from Bhopal on Sunday after hundreds of RSS activists went on a rampage following the murder of former Sangh pracharak Sunil Joshi.
Just 25 km away from Dewas, in Sutarkheda village, a group of men fired at four families of a minority community killing one and injuring three others. The police are investigating whether the attack was linked with the murder of the RSS activist.
Joshi was shot dead on Saturday evening when he was returning home from work. Police imposed Section 144 in the town as RSS activists attending his funeral turned violent and clashed with police.
This is the same Sunil Joshi to whom Pragya Singh? sold her LML which was used in the Malegaon Blast. This is also the same Sunil Joshi in who’s death?Praveen Swami believes lies the answer to the secrets of the Malegaon puzzle.
So here is an interesting question to ponder over.
How is it that the one person on whom Digivijay Singh had concrete evidence of “Hindu Terrorism” and bomb making, gets murdered within a couple of weeks of Digivijay Singh raking up the issue of “Hindu Terrorism” ?
Puzzling as that maybe it is also interesting that Digivijay Singh rakes up the issue again only in July 2008 after the Bangalore and Ahmedabad bomb blasts and repeats it all through till the current episode.
What is however even more puzzling is that having claimed concrete evidence of bomb making against Sunil Joshi and used him as the basis for all accusations of Hindu Terror, Digivijay? Singh never raised any questions on the circumstances of Sunil Joshi’s death ?
Congress leader Digvijay Singh has called for a probe to find out links between arrested Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and deceased RSS functionary Sunil Joshi in connection with the Malegaon blast case.
“A probe should be conducted to find out links between Sadhvi and Joshi and whether their relationship had anything to do with the Malegaon blasts or not,” the AICC general secretary, who was here to campaign for the Congress? nominee, told reporters.
According to Singh, Sadhvi Thakur earlier used to say that she was not aware to whom she had sold her motorcycle to which was allegedly used in the blast.
“But now she is taking the name of such a person (Joshi) who is no more,” Singh said. “I have information that Sadhvi had sold her motorcycle to Joshi,” he claimed. Singh, however refused to divulge details.
Incidentally Joshi was shot dead in 2007 allegedly by unidentified persons and was wanted by the police in connection with an incident of throwing a bomb at a temple and also for the murder of tribal leader Pyar Singh Ninama in Mhow tehsil.
According to police records, Joshi was absconding in? both the cases till he was allegedly murdered.
Singh said since Joshi was absconding till he was murdered, it needs to be found out how the Sadhvi got in touch with him.
The Congress leader also claimed that Abhinav Bharat, the name of which figured in the Malegaon blast, was set up during ‘Shabri Mahakumbh’ in which leaders of ruling party in Madhya Pradesh also took part.?

A Narco test should be performed on Digvijay Singh to find out what exactly the truth is.
Questions:
1. What is the religious affiliation of Digivijay Singh? His name may be Hindu (sanskritised), that does not mean anything. Ajit Jogi, Pranoy Roy, etcs names are also hindu, but their religious affiliations is christianity (overt or covert).
2. Why he used the term Hindu terror or terrorism? What are the motives?
If indeed he is a Hindu, why without evidence he calls his fellow Hindus, terrrosits? In the history of Bharat and Sanatan (Hindu) Dharma of over 10000 years, nobody had the audacity to abuse such a way. Why today, a Hindu (if he is a hindu) calls his fellow Hindus terrorists, a community due their extreme tolerance and peace-loving, this country is secular and multi-religious?
3. Does any other Congress leaders use the term? If yes, who are they? If not, why not?
By the way is he not a Hindu? I think he has not converted so far. So according to him he is also a terrorist being a hindu. Why not a narco test on him to know why he did not take action in Sept. 2003 itself ? Is it not a dereliction of duty or has he something to hide ?
Congress is now seeing the writing on the wall. That’s why these frustated outbursts from it’s politicians, most commonly from one and only Mr. Digvijay Singh.
Congress has lost touch with the people of India…….It has also forgotten how to respect the people of India….

New Delhi (PTI): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had a telephonic talk with L K Advani on Thursday close on the heels of the BJP leader attacking the Mumbai ATS for the treatment meted out to Malegaon blast accused Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur.
Singh informed Advani that he had seen the statement made by the opposition leader in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday about repeated narco analysis done on Pragya Singh Thakur.
Advani had also said at the public meeting that no women police personnel were present during the tests.
Advani told the Prime Minister that he was keeping quiet on the issue till now but was forced to speak after seeing the affidavit filed by Pragya in court, a BJP MP said.
Advani also advised the Prime Minister to go through Pragya’s affidavit to know the seriousness of the situation. Singh assured Advani that he will look into the matter, the BJP MP said on condition of anonymity.

BJP can’t attack Cong on terrorism, inflation issue: Moily
BHOPAL: Congress leader Veerappa Moily on Thursday said the BJP can no longer attack his party on issues of terrorism and inflation after the arrest of Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur in the Malegaon blast case.
“Both these issues (terrorism and inflation) had now gone out of the radar of the BJP,” Moily, chairman of the AICC Media Committee said.
He said that after the arrest of Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur in connection with the Malegaon blast, the BJP had stopped attacking the Congress on the issue of terrorism.
Similarly, Moily said, the BJP campaign against Congress on the issue of inflation had withered away after it came down from 12 to nine per cent.

The letters and the medals obviously don’t rule out the possibility that Purohit may be involved, but it’s the first attempt by the officer’s family to defend his record.

and now this from the Hindustan Times. All I can say is that so far the leaks seem to contradict each other. The ATS need to come up with a coherrent story otherwise their credibility would shrink everyday that passes. It is also likely that the contradictions are arising because the newspapers are coming out with their own theories and passing them off as leaks and investigation reports.
Whether the Sadhavi and the others are involved or not is a different story but surely looks like the investigating agencies dont seem to have a clue about the modus operandi.

After Praveen Swami’s pieces yesterday – harping on a dead person Joshi, its almost clear- ATS has no real case.
Meanwhile, maligning Lt Col Purohit, saying 60 KG RDX (that can blow up Parliament, Rastrapati Bhawan and so many other icons of India AND still something will be left) were used from Indian Army’s stock, worse Samjhuta Exp was done by Purohit – ALL HAVE BACKFIRED HUGELY on Congress. I have seen many writings by top intelligence, Army experts condemning the way media and politicians are handling this.
The immediate Goal of ATS and Congress is – to grab some top Hindutva leaders like Swami Ashimanand, and malign Modi.

It is also a fact that many in the authority tried to bury the case, first as a suicide. They tried their level best to bury the case forever. The Hon. Court and Jomon Puthepurakkal have at last able to make things work and the CBI was forced to investigate the matter to its logical conclusion.
Another way for BJP to attack Congress would be to question if Gujcoc is not given to Gujarat for human right considerations, then how is it OK for a Congress givt to torture a Hindu Sadhvi and then use MCOCA.

NCP-Congress targets Muslim votes after Malegaon blast case
The ruling Congress-Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in Maharashtra, which has decided to fight the Lok Sabha elections together on a secular plank, is trying to regain lost ground with the minorities.
The investigation into the Malegaon bomb blast case of 2008 has not come a moment too soon.
Even before the arrests in the Malegaon case, NCP head and Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar had been hitting out at stereotyping a single community and labelling it as terrorist. He has been at pains to say that terrorism has no religion.
The Congress, which was in imminent danger of losing the confidence of the minorities, hopes to salvage some pride with the aggressive investigation which has so far resulted in the arrest of two religious leaders and a serving army officer. While right-wing groups have been severely critical of the investigation by the Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) – senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde even demanded an apology if the ATS failed to produce proof – the case will have far-reaching repercussions.
It was significant then that on November 14, the occasion of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s birth anniversary, the Congress-NCP chose to have a joint public meeting in Govandi, a Muslim-dominated area. Clearly aiming at the elections next year, Mr. Pawar made a forceful speech in Hindi and Marathi, which left no doubt about the mandate of the coalition.
He launched a blistering attack on all those defending the accused in the Malegaon bomb blasts case. Once again, he blamed the demolition of the Babri Masjid for giving rise to terrorism. He said if one member of a particular community made a mistake then the entire community could not be blamed. Even in the case of the Malegaon blasts, just because some Hindus had been suspected did not mean that the entire community was at fault.
The NCP and Congress have also been defending the arrest of the army officer while saying that the entire institution of the Army has not been maligned. Mr. Pawar quoted from an interview in a weekly newsmagazine to emphasise that members of right-wing organisations were quite open about their terrorist inclinations.
The public meeting echoed a demand to fight communalism and regional chauvinism in very strong terms.
BJP has to provide a political answer to its idelogical opponents who are using this incident to attack BJP politically.
@21 Arjun: According to Congress Hindus are not humans. In India there are the secular variety i.e. Muslims, Christians and seculars like Congressi and communist hindus and the hindus. Hindus are communal, fascist, fundamentalist, terrorist etc., etc., they are researching for new words. The Congressmen and alliance partners who are ministers in the Central Cabinet can call the Batla house encounter as fake and demand judicial enquiry even when an Officer of the Police was killed in the encounter. This is after the so called independence we got in 1947 effecting the division of the country on the basis of RELIGION. What Congress wants. To wipe out hindus from the rest of the country too.
Congress duplicity when it comes to Hindus is amazing. They agree to a partition based on religion. Then they take the part that has Hindus. They tell the Hindus that India is secular. Well if India was secular, then why was it partitioned on religious grounds.
Even on small things they twist facts and peddle lie : “Malegaon blast: Advani meets PM: Complains about ATS”. But in the third para they say that the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate has spoken to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the subject. From other news sources it seems the PM made the call to Advani. Why this channel peddles lies on small matters too.

Situational Analysis : Ill Effects of Conversion in Chennai
I am personally aware of 6 incidents of Conversion going wrong and wrecking families.
1. ONe of my friends’ father converted to Xtianity and he wrote his prime property(wroth crores) in chennai and ourskirts to Churches. It is a clear case of perfidy. The family is torn apart. He has filed false cases against his own son and wife.
2. Churches are hunting for people and stealing their property. Two brothers had properties the younger one was converted. He wrote their property to Church. And he killed his older brother in the name of Jesus.
3. Husband and wife with 10year old girl child were torn apart. The wife was duped into Xtianity. She wanted her family to convert. Father and daughter didn’t. She filed dowry case against her husband. The husband in jail now.
4. In another case the husband converted and gave away jewels and money to chruch. The wife was taken ill and became paralyzed.
I swear on God all these and more are happening in chennai right before my eyes.
Hindus have to wake up to this reality and stop talking unreal things. Hindus are under siege and it is a stark reality.
Doordharshan Chennai is brodcasting evangelical programs every night after 10 PM. IS this secularism? Congress is not secular. Hindus have to realise this now. Otherwise there is no future for us.

Everyone knows the fact now and its high time to do something about it. Writing here that congress is not secular and is paying lip service to christians and muslims is not going to change anything .
They have their strategy clear cut and its useless to run down congress here in this forum. Its not going to acheive anything. Better thing would be to tell others who are fence sitters or who are getting swayed by such progangda being run being PR machinery of congress. Not only in TN ..the kind of conversion and property being donated to church is happening all over AP and Karntaka. In AP, my friends tell me the scale of missionary activities is 10 times more than TN. I firmly believe that unless we get our government in 2009 , we are heading for doomsday as a nation.

A lot of Indians still dont know the dirty game being played by the media, though they may have their doubts about congress and the left. So how do we take the message to the masses? How do we tell them that the news presented in the electronic and print media is anti-national?

My comment was directed specifically at those people who comment here mentioning the same thing over and over again by using different adjectives. Yoss has written a post which is quite illuminating and also what most of us have always suspected. So after reading this instead of giving ideas on how to counter such propaganda or adding something of value to the post, I find most people just repeating same stuff about congress conspiracy or how congress is fooling everyone. This has been mentioned umpteen times here and it serves no purpose to go on parrotting the same line.
Yes you are right that lot of Indians are unaware of the games being played by the media and they tend to believe the saying by media as gospel truth. Only thing we can do here is we discuss, share, say our views on it to those we come across be it friends , relatives or acquatainces. Initially one might be derided, ridiculed, laughed upon, sniggered on etc,. but one has to persist and if not all atleast 5 out 10 will defintely realise it when you discuss it over a period of time. That is what I do and I feel that is what all of us should do.

RSS calls ATS report a ploy to divide
RSS leader Ram Madhav lashed out at the ATS saying it is a ploy to discourage people who are standing firmly behind the Malegaon blast accused. “It is an effort to de-motivate the support base of the Malegaon accused. The ATS does not have any evidence till now to prove their involvement. However, I reiterate that investigation into the case should continue and let truth prevail,” he said.
ATS reports of the Malegaon blasts have pointed to a conspiracy that showed some of the accused were plotting to kill senior RSS leaders, who they thought were not doing enough for Hindutva. The probe report revealed that a plan to kill RSS General Secretary Mohan Bhagwat and senior leader Indraeesh, who manages the Rashtriya Muslim Manch, was being hatched. @37Ramu :Illegal structures, even if it is a temple, should be brought down. No one should construct any structure on a land belonging to government. If anybody wants to construct a temple, let them get it from the government or purchase it. I am a hindu. But I don’t like people building structures in government land. Whatever Modi is doing is correct. Hindu activists should not have taken objection to such a drive, including Ashok Singhal. But it is natural for the Congress to fish in troubled waters.

Nov. 20: When national political parties are debating the issue of keeping religion away from politics, the entire electoral battle in the frontier state of Mizoram is revolving round the Church so much so that the powerful Presbyterian Church of the state is sponsoring a political party, the Mizoram People’s Forum (MPF).
Students’ leader Dave admits that people congregate at Church services and politically loaded speeches are delivered to influence the electorates particularly during the elections.
This year’s electioneering is also extremely low-key in the absence of colourful and noisy campa-igning, as no political party was daring to violate a plethora of “thou shall not” diktat’s of the MPF.
The MPF, an organisation sponsored by the Presbyterian Church in which all the major churches, excluding the Baptist Church and the Salvation Army, main NGOs and political parties are represented, is for political and electoral reforms aiming at cleaner and less expensive campaigns.
There are people who are also concerned about the growing political influence of churches.
“There can be nothing more powerful than the church in Mizoram. It is so powerful that it has become dysfunctional in so many ways. It will be blasphemous to talk against the church but if there is something that controls all of us, an unknown force, it’s the church,” Mr Henry a lecturer in Mizoram University told to a group of reporters at Aizwal.
However, there are large number of people who believe that there is nothing wrong in this mix of religion and politics.
“I don’t think there’s a danger in the relationship between religion and politics. At least the church has succeeded in putting a break on use of money power during the elections to some extent,” said Ngente of MPF.
Moreover, the guidelines of the church to political parties to keep the election a low-key affair has forced them to find an alternative route for peaceful campaign and SMS messages on mobile phones has emerged as the most popular mode of seeking votes.
“Apart from their appeal, candidates are also sending their election symbols through SMS to make the voters aware,” said Mr Dave.
The election to the 40-seat Mizoram Assembly is scheduled for December 2 and the results are expected by December 8.

MCOCA against Malegaon accused discrimination against Hindus: Togadi
New Delhi, Nov 20 : Reacting strongly to the slapping of Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act(MCOCA) against Malegaon accused Sadhvi Pragya and others, VHP (Inlt) general secretary Praveen Togadia today said the move smacked of discrimination against Hindus.
”Mumbai serial blasts accused and underworld don Abu Salem was charged under MCOCA but later withdrawn as he was a Muslim. These people have been convicted as they were Hindus,” Mr Togadia told UNI.
He stressed that just to prove its point and appease the minorities the Maharashtra and Central government had deliberately trapped ’sadhvi’ Pragya and Lt Col Purohit and charged them under MCOCA, he said.
”This was clear discrimination against Hindus for political ends and a travesty of justice,” he maintained.
The VHP leader was reacting to the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) slapping the dreaded MCOCA against the alleged Malegaon(Maharashtra) blast accused this evening.

BJP has edge in Delhi, MP, Chattisgarh; may head for tie with Congress in Rajasthan: Survey
New Delhi, Nov 21: In a close race to power in four states, a pre-poll survey released on Friday shows Congress and BJP tied in Rajasthan but the saffron party having an edge in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh.
The opinion poll survey conducted by The Week/C Voter gives both the ruling BJP and the Congress between 94 and 106 seats in the desert state in a House of 200. The BJP at present has 120 seats. The survey provides for an average three percent margin of error.
In Madhya Pradesh, the survey puts the ruling BJP ahead with 118 to 128 seats compared to Congress’ 100 to 110 seats. In the existing 228-member Assembly, the saffron party has 171 seats.
The survey said opposition BJP is expected to bag between 36 and 42 seats for the Delhi Assembly in a House of 70. The ruling Congress may get 28 to 34 seats, it added.
In BJP-ruled Chattisgarh, the survey said the saffron party may get 44 to 52 seats followed by Congress with 38 to 46 seats. The BJP has 50 seats in House strength of 90.
In the chief ministerial stakes, voters covered in the survey showed preference for Sheila Dikshit over BJP’s V K Malhotra. 37 percent favoured the incumbent chief minister while Malhotra was preferred by 22 percent of those surveyed.

MUMBAI, Nov 21: The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has “let loose a reign of terror on Hindu society” with the patronage of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government at the centre, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has said in a scathing editorial in its mouthpiece, ‘Organizer.’
In an over 1,500-word editorial in its latest issue (Nov. 23), the newsweekly has said that the “ATS actions are illegal, its conduct violates all tenets of decent, adroit and result-oriented, pro-active investigations”. Commenting on the ATS investigations into the September 29 Malegaon blast in which 10 accused have been charged under provisions of the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), it said the ATS “proves nothing and speaks volumes”. “Its (ATS’s) fables cannot stand the scrutiny of even a Bollywood director. It is able to get away because MCOCA empowers the detention of a suspect for upto 180 days without filing charges,” it said.
It lashed out at the UPA government, saying “it is proving itself a hydra-headed monster. At the fag end of the most disastrous yet in Indian history, it believes, it has evolved a chakravyuh to confront its opponents.” It said that an act “meant to curb crime, bust terror and offer safety to law-abiding citizens is being misused to arrest and keep in confinement, make wild and unsubstantiated allegations and defame respected, patriotic and transparent activities of honourable military officers and religious activists”.
Continuing in a similar vein it said: “On the one hand it hopes to put the nationalist forces in the country on the defensive. On the other, it believes, these shenanigans will divert the attention of the public from its ineffectiveness or benevolent indulgence of jehadi elements in the country responsible for making life in India unsafe for ordinary citizens. It is calculating that the terrorists will be eternally grateful to UPA for floating the chimera of majority terrorism as a counter to the loathing and repugnancy the Islamists have earned over the years.”
