Continuing with Part-2 of “How the Congress betrayed the aam admi ?“, Offstumped digs deep into how Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh have inflicted deep fissures into the social fabric of our nation with their brand of Communal Socialism.
The horrific and outrageous incident of the lynching of a laborer from Uttar Pradesh by a mob aboard a Mumbai Local Train is but one of many symptoms of the pestilence called “Communal Socialism”.
With news from Hyderabad that the Congress has succesfully communalised the Telangana issue with the Adilabad Riots as a bogey is yet another reminder of the cynical manner in which the Congress uses “Communal Socialism” to fuel vote bank politics.
None of the social conflict we are witnessing today should come as surprise for the Congress gave us a warning in what was to come in its 2004 manifesto.
Its case for “Why Congress again in 2004” was but a preview of the Communal Socialist agenda that was to be the hallmark of the UPA regime
The Congress is the only political party that derives its strength and support from, and appeals to, each and every section of our variegated society. combining sustainable economic growth with social justice, and marrying economic liberalization to social liberalism
With a firm focus on fostering Victimhood, one can see very clearly what Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh had in mind when they were talking as far back as 2004 on “Social Justice” and “Social Liberalism”.
As one sifts over to the Congress’s priorities, plans and programs?one can see the subtle emphasis on the two pillars of “Communal Socialism”.
The first priority of the Congress we were told back then was “Samajik Sadbhavna” which with hindsight we must now interpret as code for “Muslim appeasement” for over the past 4 years if there is one thing the Sonia Gandhi-Manmohan Singh duo has been consistent about is to pursue Muslim Vote Bank politics above everything else (the sole exception being the Indo-US Nuclear Deal) – from the repeal of POTA, Sachar Commission to the Telangana issue.?
Look no further than the Congress’ progress report for 2004-2007 which does away with the political correctness of the manifesto to make Muslim appeasement its centerpiece. It opens with a tribute to the Communal Socialism of the past 3 years and goes on to remind us of the Orwellian role played by Arjun Singh in the HRD Ministry.? The rest of it is a dissertation on Communal Socialist Manmohan Singh’s coming out party with his 15 point program for Muslim appeasement being the centerpiece.
To truly appreciate the Communal Socialism of the Congress look at what all has been slipped in the name of “Social Justice for Minorities”

in the name of communal equality, congress seems to releasing a set of press statements that all seem to be in one direction and indeed seem very disturbing. I guess i can paste some links, but I am not sure if everyone has noticed this.
1. Around 10 days back, congress releases a statement saying “We would like intelligence to keep a watch on the sangh outfits in MP, because they may get involved in some terror activity to polarize public opinion ahead of assembly elections.
2. Then the congress plays the ugly game and MSM co-operates and goes on the blitzkrieg of the hindu terrorist.
3. What slowly started with accusing hindu outfits slowly moved to accusing VHP and RSS.
4. Today jayanthi natarajan wants a enquiry into the source of funding of these outfits and see of BJP is involved in funding them to extract electoral mileage. She goes to the extent of accusing BJP of plotting all the terror attacks so far.
This is a deadly game. Dont forget that congress played similar tricks in the 90’s. Towards the end of their tenure in 96, advani was charged with hawala. I will not be surprised of this time around these guys start naming a couple of top BJP leaders in this ugly game of theirs. Man these guys are bad losers.
I would assume that today BJP is a much stronger party to ward off such ugly games, but who knows.

Cynicism rules and compels me to declare that the Indian public will give a fractured mandate in 2009, whether its BJP led or Kaangress led.
The only thing that can stop the Kangress led govt. coming to power in 2009 is higher voter turnout and sensible campaigning by BJP (which doesn’t look like happening)

No one is saying anything clearly. What is happening is that the Muslims allege that they are being maligned. Now parties which depend on the Muslim vote are finding it difficult to secure those votes. Another fact is that the BJP and its allies seem to be on a better footing to face the forthcoming elections. Hence it seems as though this is an attempt to reflect terror on the BJP. Let the noise regarding this case settle down and then the truth will come out.

@arjun, truth coming out is all well, but you and I will know the truth. The media is going to mention it in one corner and the accusation remains a fact to most people. There are decent guys I know, who sincerely believe Modi, started the Godhra fire. They have been taken in by the propaganda. the propaganda needs to be fought on all planes, else I fear that the BJP will lose the battle of minds. Perhaps, I am giving the media more clout than they actually enjoy, but I am really worried.
venkatesh, don’t overworry. Congress is all round failure. So people are pissed. I am just concerned about the state elections that will take place in BJP ruled states. If BJP does well, nothing can stop it. The economy is just going to get worse.

So much for Urdu and nothing for Sanskrit. So much for Mecca and Medina to the Muslims without they even asking for them. I have some friends from Muslim countries and they say that they too don’t get any concessions. OTOH, nothing for our pilgrimages which are so much short range. These people are shameless to the core.
All muslim theological centers in the world said Hajj subsidy is un-muslim, and needs to be stopped. Saudi and Pak said Hajj subsidy is un-muslim. THey dont have any Hajj subsidy in Saudi and Pak or anywhere else in the world. But our Kaangress thinks it is very very required onlee. Can anything be more secular than taking taxpayer money and supporting muslims, I ask you. Well, taking money from Hindu temples and giving it to muslims and christians is more secular than Hajj subsidy, come to think of it. Wait, breaking Ram Setu would be Secular Act Number 1..

‘Not terrorist until proved guilty’
After initial confusion, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) now seems to have got clear in its stand over the arrest of sadhvi Pragya Thakur in connection with the Malegaon blast case. The party is now of the view that until proved guilty, those accused in the blast case should not be branded terrorists.
The party would pursue the line that there should be no attempt to target the entire Hindu community to deflect the country’s attention from jehadi terrorism and organisation like SIMI.
On Thursday, BJP leader LK Advani and Rajnath Singh consulted RSS leader KS Sudarshan and Mohanrao Bhagwat over this issue and the party eventually decided that the sadhvi and others, who could have an association with the Parivar in the past, should not be abandoned.
The BJP leaders feel that though the sadhvi’s ideology did not match with that of the RSS and its affiliates and she moved away from the organisation some years back, the fact that they could have been associated with it in the past should not be ignored.
With elections to many States round the corner, it was also felt that deserting the sadhvi would not serve any purpose apart from emboldening those who support jihadi terrorism. The main Opposition feels that there was a well-planned conspiracy to malign the BJP and organisations associated with it and the BJP should take a ‘strong stand’ on this issue.
After the meeting between the BJP brass and the RSS, it was also decided that BJP president Rajnath Singh would issue a “strong statement” in this case. A few hours later, Rajnath told reporters at his residence here that no attempt should be made to frame an innocent in the blast case and “evidence, if any, must be produced”.
The BJP chief argued that a person belonging to a nationalist organisation and believing in the concept of a nation would never get involved in terror activities. Rajnath, who reiterated that he did not know the sadhvi and said that no attempt should be made to link Hinduism and terrorism, argued that the police should not try to frame someone innocent.
Earlier, Advani told the media that they discussed with the RSS leadership the current “political situation and other relevant issues”. He said, “There is a need for change. The Congress has ruined the country.”

take a look at the link and see you won’t be able to make out any context what rajnath is talking about and what ndtv is spining it into. they are really putting words in his mouth.
Anyone, are there some legal remedeis available in Indian framework to screw newsmen for concocting stories or in some case outrightly reporting lies. (for eg there are no Ram temple in Tamil Nadu).

Maybe time to have a discussion around the multiparty system in India vs two party system.
My theory is that the multiparty system is destroying national integrity – Karuna, laloo and Raj thackery
RSS and VHP under a new good banner should open up a political party. There are many regions in the country where Hindus are waiting for some party that can tackle Christian, Jehadi onslaught. BJP is useless in helping Hindus on its own, it has been given good number of chances in the past and absence of strong constant political allies pulled it down. If parties like Majlis Itthehudul Islameen ( MIM ) can contest elections, why cant RSS and VHP ?. I think RSS is already doing something similar in KErala and thats why we see innocent RSS activists being killed by CPI mafioso on regular basis.
Just a theory but don’t you think that a lot of what is transpiring in India is actually a manifestation of resource wars
- Too many people too few resources to everyone is looking for scapegoats
- Resource snatching by vested interests i.e., mines and other natural reosurces that are being sold off
A first step towards stemming this would be to control Indias population – One kid is fine, second kid you get fined and third kid you get fined and are not eligable for government doles or facilities

Rather then that support the BJP en masse. Drop all our differences and just vote em to power.
Congress is desperate to cling to power, they are leaving no stone un turned in intimidating us Hindus. They know that Hindus have finally awakened and that remarks like ” MUSLIMS HAVE FIRST RIGHT TO OUR RESOURCES” are earning them brick bats.
If you see the sequence of events in 2008, you will see many a campaigns by the Hindus protesting all aspects of BS called SECULARISM. This is Hindu awakening.
Lets not fret over trivial issues and vote our party to power
