Some more Questions about the Delhi Encounter

It has come to Offstumped’s notice that a motley group of Jhola bearing drifters, losers and vagabonds have trespassed a crime scene in New Delhi by their own admission.

Offstumped finds it hard to believe that the Delhi Police would have lowered the security perimeter around this crime scene to allow vagabonds bearing?jholas to trespass a site of an anti-terrorist operation nevertheless one has to take the words of the above perps at their face value and assume they are guilty of trespassing.

While your department investigates why and how such a trespassing occured, Offstumped would like to ask a few more questions of your department.

1. It appears that the perps in question have full and intimate knowledge that the information shared by the alleged terrorists to the Delhi Police for verification was “personal” and “accurate”. Offstumped would like to ask of the Police Department how between a Saturday evening and a Sunday night a motley group of Jhola bearing vagabonds could confirm this. It points to one of 2 possibilities. These perps knew beforehand what information was shared or alternatively these perps have breached the security of the Police Department records to obtain this information.

Either way Offstumped would like to demand that these perps be investigated.

2. The perps also claim to have accurate and complete knowledge of access routes in and out of the crime scene and seem to have knowledge of when exactly the anti-terror operation started and when it ended to claim that no alleged terrorist could have escaped during the operation. This raises the question what inside track these perps had on the duration of the operation and knowledge of the movement of individuals from the crime scene. Offstumped would like to demand that the police interrogate the perps on this.

3. These perps want to know if your slain colleague the late Inspector was overconfident while claiming that his death was mysterious. Perhaps an intimate encounter with Inspectors of the Task Force is in order here so these perps could gain first hand knowledge of the confidence level of Inspectors in dealing with terrorists. It would also be in order to demystify how someone could possibly die of bullet wounds. Offstumped requests you to kindly arrange for a close encounter of the fourth estate kind to for these perps benefit.

4. These perps ask a question of your department based on “some reports” of police vandalism. Doesnt it strike you that all references to the terrorists are “alleged” while all references to acts of vandalism by “police” are vague, not factual but conclusive and not “alleged”. Offstumped would like to demand that these perps be interrogated on what prior knowledge do they have of the slain terrorists that they are ambivalent of their guilt but are pretty damn sure about the guilt of the policemen.

5. The perps have expressed immense disappointment that the alleged terrorists did not use sophisticated weapons to strike at the police while preferring to use primitive and not so well known firearms. Offstumped can understand their disappointment and would like to request your department to conduct these encounters in a more dignified manner as in the good old days when the fugitives were given the choice of weapon and a place and time of their choosing. Perhaps some target practice would also be in order here before the shootout, Offstumped would like to recommend some fine Jholas for the same.

In closing Offstumped would like to highlight there are many loose lends in the perps claims and it is important that the Delhi Police conduct a full and uncompromising inquiry without any inhibitions on these Jhola bearing drifters, losers and vagabonds to answer the above questions and address any other questions on their links with these terrorists.
