War on Terror – 14 and still counting…

This post comes from the blackberry as news flashes of 14 live bombs discovered in Surat, one every hour.

If anyone had any doubts about this nation being at War they must be put to rest.

The War is still on, even the battle is not yet over, India’s soft underbelly stands exposed.

Many Offstumped regulars have expressed disagreement on a recent post. The fact that we are still at War is reason enough to not lose our focus from the enemy into the imaginary world of Conspiracy Theories where reality blurs into fiction.

Kudos to Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP Leader Narendra Modi and his team for keeping that laser focus on the cross-hairs and pre-empting what would have been a tragedy of enormouis magnitude.

The Jholawallahs in the media were quick to pain delinquent Manmohan Singh and sphinx like silent Sonia Gandhi as some kind of messiahs delivering a healing touch. As expected the same jholawallah brigade is at a loss for positive adjectives when it comes to Mr. Modi or Lk Advani.Yet another omen that the decline of Jholawallahs is imminent.

Offstumped Bottomline:In a War gross of derliction of duty is a crime that can attract a Court Martial. Manmohan Singh’s delinquency is no less a crime than a War a time General being AWOL. Shivraj Patil’s incompetence is no less a crime than a War time Colonel’s abandoning post to escape facing enemy fire. If Sonia Gandhi wants the Congress to have any relevance in the nation she must fire the duo or be prepared to face the music as the de-facto Commander in Chief, the non-entity occupying Raisina Hill notwithstanding.

I’ve seen the documentary of Isreal’s raid on entebbe, Uganda to free its hostages in 1976. That would have been the right way to deal with the kandahar hijacking.

@Indian…wrt your post # 45…mitra you have every right to your opinion as do I have mine…n differences are what makes us observe others as well as our own view points objectively (to a certain extent).
Your goal is same as mine, as that of so many posters on this forum…the end to means might be a little different.

Now coming to your point about let Congress or MIM win…no thats not my goal. ‘coz from my perpsective Congress & by extension Nehru-Gandhi family are a bane of India, and for Congress even Gandhi requested it be disbanded after independence…so whenever these Congis talk about carrying over Gandhi’s ideals forward, they are just pulling wool over the eyes & thought process of ‘ignorant’ Indian citizens. As I have already mentioned in my posts, I would like a leader of M.o.D type, the best thing would be M.o.D himself, who doesn’t give a damn as to what the intelligentsia or their cohorts like ELM/MSM think & goes about his duty…his dharma with the resilience of true karmyogi…again I don’t want leaders who look forward to acceptance from ELM/MSM and to gain it have no qualms in diluting their agenda.

@Aryan..I agree, India could have learned so much from Israel’s handling of Entebbe episode in Uganda…man..it was all over in 20 minutes flat!

BTW, do you know in late 70s & early 80s (when India didn’t have any formal diplomatic relations with Israel…again the result of the myopic approach to foreign policy by Indian leadership…although in ‘78 one of Israel’s topmost military leaders & foreign minister Moshe Dayan visited India secretly, when Janta Party was in power)…Mossad was training LTTE as well as some Indian forces side-by-side in Israel…and the two sides didn’t knew about this…;)

wasnt there a rumor, india and isreal were going to knock out pakistani nuclear sites ? man it would have been great if we had done that, pakis w/ nukes really complicates a lot of things for us. if they were without nukes, after every attack indian tanks can go and flatten lahore, and make them really pay. if we had played our cards right, and engaged the americans enough, we could have kept the pakis without nukes.

@Aryan…it wasn’t a rumor…it was a fact but @ the penultimate moment CIA alerted the Pakistaanis and the plan had to be shelved! Actually, in ‘81 Israel proposed to India that if it could provide refuelling facilities to its planes @ Jamnagar Airport, then they together (India & Israel) could bomb the Kahuta plant, the way Israelis had done it to Iraqi nuclear reactor, in the making, @ Basra. But, alas Kahuta bombing was not to happen, and as they say, hindsight is lways a 20-20 vision…this nipping in the bud of nuclear ambitions of Pakistani mullahs was not undertaken @ the opportune moment, and as we can see…it has come back to haunt us as well as the rest of the world.

This is all detailed in this wonderful book:

Deception : Pakistan, the United States, and the secret trade in nuclear weapons
    – Levy, Adrian.

Read it…if you can get hold of it!

  8. Aryan says:

    @sootradhar,

thanks, I will. I’m convinced the paki nukes will come back to haunt the US one day. Just like the CIA’s afghan war backfired on 9/11, its not going to be pretty.

  9. Sootradhaar says:

@Aryan…yes they will…as they say: you lie with the dogs, you’ll wake up with the fleas…;) and there’s one specific term for these trend of past actions coming back to haunt you..’blowback’…Chalmers Johnson, an American author & academia has written a couple of books on this phenomenon…n in his one of the books titled ‘Blowback’…refers to a CIA neologism describing the unintended consequences of American activity. Read those books to if you get a chance!

I am surprised to learn that Congress party has taken too much of stupid decisions ….it may as well find a mention in Guiness Book of world records as a party which took maximum of stupid decisions for a nation….

An overwhelming number if folks here seem to want an regime change for the better, one that is truly nationalist. I am among them. Many here suggest the BJP needs to get to power. However, I suspect all of us here are only talking and not acting on this idea. If there are so many who feel so passionately about this why not go out and do something? We should all forms groups and try to spread the word. Why not try getting support for the BJP in the coming elections amongst the urban middle class since they do not participate actively? Why not try gaining support amongst our co-workers and friends in our circle. Why not form groups and raise awareness?

Please don’t forget ISI being pet of both china & cia has upper hand over Indian Intel. Ultimately Indian intels have to do what the master in delhi tells them to do. The fumbling of indian intels on terrorism is stage managed and deliberate. Further yesterday’s breakthr about culprits in pakistan is a clear tactic to divert attention from congress’s involvement. those jihadis who executed it all form only half of entire chain of command. Can’t stop thinking if the info about these scapegoats was provided by isi on behalf of cia’s request.

Please remember who benefits from war between India-pak and social tensions in India. USA: weapon sales, china: weaken, distract India on world stage, Congress,SP: gain back scared muslims. If any riots happen the media psy-ops against bjp makes the ignorantly secular aam janta vote for congress. It is a big game. Pak-isi-jihadis are doing contract work for BIG players. Mayawati should be careful in coming days. Congress, CIA and chinese are playing various jihadi cells to achieve their own motives all around India.

There is too much anti-muslim ranting on discussion boards everywhere including this one. Possibly some of it started by congress thugs as well. The biggest problem is common bjp supports fall prey to these tactics without understanding the psy-ops. The common muslims fall prey to the hate rants as we all know.

congress is like shakuni, old, seasoned, sweet talking and covertly ruthless. Bjp is like young pandavs falling prey to shakuni’s mayajal all the time. Same congress that nurtured hK, LTTE, bindranwale is now nurturing isi-jihadis and using them as a political tool in India. Same congress who with cia’s help sacrified own rajiv. Same congress who with cia’s help reversed 1960s JD wave with assassinations and us-dollars.

Nearer the elections expect more extreme psy-ops, more terror, possible mini-war with pakistan, big arm deals with US, reliance-tele getting big contracts and even sacrifice of own rajkumar-lady at hands of contract jihadis to generate massive sympathy wave. Don’t forget the reservations bill. It will be raised soon in few months to gain back dalit votes from mayawati and bjp. Again as usual bjp supporters will fall prey to that game of congress as well by publicly staging protests against reservations. CNN-IBM, NDTV will interview those bjp leaders staging protests and telecast them as many times as possible.

btw did anyone notice: naming of Anil on so called jihadi’s list just before trust vote? The best one was total mute of US media for first two days after bglr blasts. As if they got straight instructions from white house to keep quite. someone in cia surely knew that the bglr-ahmd blasts were just part of congress’s domestic psy-ops against bjp’s cash show.
