It is no business of Offstumped if a non-Indian wants to celebrate his bigotry on the Internet.
But it is unacceptable if an entity that calls itself “Indian” lends credibility to describing any law abiding Indian Citizen as Hitler, that too a democratically elected Leader against whom no case of criminal wrongdoing has been established to date.
For far too long have commentators inside and outside India been wrongfully applying the phrase pogrom to generalize just about any incidents of violence and getting away with it.
These characterization neither reflect an accurate understanding of the word pogrom nor of the problems faced by the actual victims of these incidents.
Offstumped Bottomline: Narendra Modi is no Hitler and the Gujarat riots were no pogrom. Those who resort to characterizing either in this manner are intellectually dishonest and have no interest in solving the real problems of the Indian Muslim Community. For if they did we would have heard their voices in calling out the UPA for its betrayal of Muslims in Nandigram, on the streets of Kolkota when Taslima Nasreen was declared person non-grata and in the area of Education where the Minorities Commission has been busy currying favors to special interests.

I have seen this in my own circle, people who found Modi unacceptable are now ardent fans of Narendra Modi. This dhimmi community is the worst asset that was bequeathed to India on partition.

I also happen to watch the CNBC interview of Modi by CNBC’s Economic Affairs Editor.
Clarity about what the government should do for the welfare of it’s people was the hallmark of that interview….
Now after Modi defeated the pseudo-secular media in Gujarat Elections of 2007 , the Media has now realised that it can no more fool the people.
The more it tried to influence the people …more it backfired and more the people voted for Narendra Modi….even Muslims….
Media also knows that Gujarat is actually the best administered state in India…… so they can’t ignore this fact any longer…
If Shri Modi is compared to Hitler then how should we compare the Kashmiri jehadis who killed hindus in thousands and driven out lakhs from the valley. How we should call Jinnah and all the other Pakistani Muslims who were instrumental in partition of India and the resultant series of riots, and the ethnic cleansing of Pakistan and Bangladesh whose minority Hindu population is down to 1.5% AND 9.5% from 24% and 30% at the time of partition?
I would rather call the entire Indian Muslim community who have not condemned the acts of the Kashmiri Jehadis, the killers of Sabarmati Express at Godhra and making India the killing fields for over a thousand years much worse than Hitler, a bunch of barbarians, draculas, Hun the Attila, Pol Pot all rolled into one. We know how the muslims would act when other communities are in minority. We need not go far away. Look at Pakistan and Bangladesh or Malayasia. If you want instances in India look at Kashmir valley. Even they don’t allow transfer of a few acres to Hindu temple for temporary shelters and kill and drive away the minority population. Barbarians and blood suckers. In comparison to these vultures Hitler would look like an angel.

Comaparing Modi with Hitler is un believeable. The writer himself is confused not have read the history behing the vehemant anti semitism prevailent in the 18th /19th and till 1960 in Europe.
What happened in Gujarat was due to the angst of the Hindus against repeated attacks on them by the Muslims and with no protection at all from the SECULAR government.
For everybody’s knowledge, Ehsaan Jaffri, THE CONGRESS MP, was lynched coz he chose to fire his personal weapon in AIR ( NOT AT THE MOB OF 10000 +) which was carying out its protest against the Godhra killings of the kar sevaks. The firing incident triggered the attack of this mob on his house and subsequent lynching of him.
I am not justifying this mob violence, however, the facts have never been published by the MSM.
Sample this:
Chotta Udaipur, It is near Baroda, in Panchmahal district is a inhabitated by tribals, who usually eek a living by doing hard labor in bigger cities of Gujarat, the ones that you find on road constructions etc. Now this section went on a rampage in that district and wiped all living Muslim MALE’S.
Folks, remember, these are tribals with their TEER-KAMAN and they can shoot accurately at a distance of about 400 meters.Even the Army refused to patrol this area since they were not allowed to SHOOT !!!!
The subsequent inquiry led to the truth that the Muslim moneylenders from whom the women folk of the tribals used to borrow money, used sexually exploit them when their men were away. This was going on for centuries. This retaliation in this district was a result of this humiliation enforced for centuries.
If you sample each and every district in Gujarat, you will come to know hard facts of why the riots spread so quickly in the entire state.
As a matter of fact Narendra Modi’s administration was ruthless in trying to curb the violence. They made it very clear, both Hindus and Muslims will have answer tough questions for any compensation claims from the government. And they did it, I personally know many Hindus, who were denied compensation along with Muslims, who tried to hood wink the government by false documentation.
This is the sad reality of our REPUBLIC,the riots were nothing but it was response by the Hindus to the centuries old enemities between the communities.
