    Yossarin,

    UPA’s item girl, the song’s hilarious ! ROTFL !

    The song is about as funny as sad it is to have Shivraj patil as home minister.

  2. socal says:

    I don’t see where Patil attributed Raje’s “weakness” to her gender.

  3. yossarin says:

    Aryan – thanks
    Socal – there is no factual evidence to suggest Raje was either shaken becoz of the blasts nor does her reference to deporting bangladeshis imply any weakness. By seeking to slip in both of these unrelated and factually unsupported observations he was just taking a dig at her gender by subtly reinforcing the stereotype – women are shaken easily, women are weak.

  4. proud indian says:

    Yossarin,

    That was just fabulous….

    I remember Congress leaders compairing Indira Gandhi to Goddess Durga….Did Mr Spineless forget it?

    It is time these people start watching their words… else another “maut ka saudagar” type fiasco is in the making….. and probably this time the “aam aadmi” will not spare them.

  5. sud says:

    I have to agree with socal here. Patil is (as usual) way off base in his statements but attributing Patil’s sly attacks to Raje’s gender is hard to believe.

    In any case, Raje deserves better than to have to be defended on the hackneyed basis of gender, esp when pitted against the likes of Patil, politically.

    Just my 2 paisa.

  6. V says:

    BJP could easily turn around his arguments and say that home minister is “callous” in his response to terrorism and Raje is concerned. His statements that we should not take these “insidents” seriously should be ripped apart.

    But unfortunately the entire english language press is hostile to BJP and are strongly pro congress. So, the item girl gets away…..

    =========

    Did u guys notice how the roaches have crawled out and started whining that **ILLEGAL** bangladeshis should not be deported even when scores of indians are murdered???

    under the mask of liberal/secular/progressive rhetoric, these guys actually support terrorists.

  7. yossarin says:

    Sud – in case you have missed the “8pm no cm” snide remark http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/News/PoliticsNation/Politicians_coloured_statements_have_shades_of_grey/articleshow/3047762.cms there is a pattern here.

  8. yossarin says:

    Proud Indian – thanks, yep this is a blunder of the same magnitude.

  9. V says:

    Bye the way… There is one point a lot of anal-ysts seem to overlook in this gruesome saga….

    If pakistan is doing all terror business in india, it is because of kashmir and all that stuff. But why bangladesh?? there is no territorial dispute with them. There is no political dispute with them. then why???

    you and I already know the answer and no one will ask this question because the honest answer is un-pc.

    ===============

    Sagarika ghosh declared grandly on CNN IBN that their channel believes that terrorism has no religion.
    She almost declared it as if it is a scientifically proven fact. :-D

    counter question to Sagarika – what if people belong to a certain religion are much more prone to violence(historically proven) than people belonging to other religions??? Do you support that we need different techniques to handle them??? or such a question makes me a fascist/bigot/nazi ????

  10. Bharat says:

    1. Those who symphathise, facilitate and support terrorists are bigger terrorists. Bin laden didn’t go to US to blow-up the towers, does that means he is not a terrorist? Manmohan Singh can’t sleep in the night, kept worrying about the fate of Jihadi terrorists. He, his govt, his party are strongly against any anti-terror law. What shall we call him/them? Sants/saints, holy men?

    2. Its time, we speak out loudly telling the pseudo-secular brigades that you are the people, who support, facilitate and protect terrorists, and glorify their acts under the mask of freedom of expression.

    3. It is better not to talk about Shivraj Patil, who even don’t know what Ministry he heads. His ministry ends up in 10 Janpath, worshping and washing feet of Roman Goddess called Antonia Maino. Those people have no self-respest, we simply can’t create self-respect for them. Even people slap him with shoes, nothing is going to change. They are born mleechas, barbarians.

  11. Ravindra says:

    I only wonder, is communication between Union Govt and State Govt done verbally? Isnt there any written document? Can’t both parties prove their claims using these documents? I really hope this matter doesnt die out like yesterday’s newspaper. If the Union Govt has really advised keeping the Bangladeshis in transit camps, then let Raje prove this through a document. That will shut of Patil’s mouth once and for all!

  12. Jiggs says:

    @Ravindra…Correct…Vasundhara Raje must publish the communication in the mdeia and embarass Patil.

  13. ‘Anatomically Dysfunctional’ man ‘thy name is Home Minister’!HUH!

    We knew he had no spine, but at least I credited him with a some what ’senile’ mind for keeping self ‘always’ in the service of ‘Her Majesty’. ALAS! I am proven wrong! Senile or otherwise, does he have any!

    ‘Home Minister’ he is, for sure. But whose? Are drivers and escorts are known as ‘home ministers’ these days?

    Will some body enlighten me?

    PI

  14. Jiggs says:

    @V…
    8 PM NO CM…
    The Psecs have started this ranting in MSM,my question is if the CM fineshes all her work in the stipulated time, isnt that being efficient????
    Well its is better than Sheila Dikshit, catching her frequent naps in the Delhi assembly!!!!!!!!!!

  15. SeaLion says:

    I had said on the day after the blasts that the NDTV / CNN-IBN/ TOI / ENGLISH AND ELECTRONIC Media Pimps would soon start finding Modi angle. lOL here goes the HT. Their moto “Down with nationalism, Long Live Ku Klux Klan ism”

  16. rone says:

    i agree Mr Patil is an ineffective minister and I apreciate your earlier well researched blogs in this matter.But this one and its language i am afraid falls to street propoganda category.Please, we expect serious stuff from you.

  17. Sharat says:

    @rone

    Don’t worry about the language…..worry about the serious stuff….

    serious stuff is that our PM and Home Ministers are two lame ducks…..

  18. Amit Verma says:

    Yossarin,

    More interesting was his “Democracy-Monarchy” attempt at wittism.

    Our pal forgot that the lady (Raje) he was referring about is a democratically elected C.M who has direct representation of her constituency and is their in office due to the popular and overwhelming mandate she had received. While our “Kitten” Minster made to the office despite the defeat in Lok Sabha Elections, and had to make a backdoor entry into the cabinet.

    “Now that is called Wh***s preaching the virtues of virginity to nuns”.
