Jaipur Blasts expose – More Useful Idiots and still more Dangerous Consequences

No I am not referring to the newly christened Indian Mujahideen. Nitin has done a good job taking on their now confirmed cyber habits. Perhaps Sriprakash Jaiswal would like to comment the foreign nature of the otherwise “Indian” mujahideen. In the aftermath of the Hyderabad Blasts, Offstumped had warned of the Rd-X. It appears that our worst fears of the hunt for the unknown radical mind are coming true.

The public e-mail message from the Indian Mujahideen and a not so public e-mail from a section of the Psuedo-intellectual brigade bear an eerie similarity. It is this expose that Offstumped is focusing on in this post.

So who exactly are these “Useful Idiot” Apologists for the Indian Mujahideen ?

Offstumped today was alerted to an e-mailer titled “Jaipur Blasts Statement” signed “Concerned Citizens” which was circulated interestingly to the International Human Rights Organization, IRHO by an entity called the NAPM – National Association of People’s Movements.

Before we get to the identities and the backgrounds of the Useful Idiots who scripted this e-mail, let us focus on the dangerous consequences of their mischief mongering.

The e-mail from the Indian Mujahideen specifically calls out as its chief grouse India’s “support” for the United States in the International Arena. A match of the time-stamps of this e-mail from the Mujahideen and the other one by their apologist Useful Idiots should make for an interesting topic in another post. But for now it is pertinent to point out relevant text from the Apologist e-mail which after the usual sanctimony gets to the root cause, and surprise surprise ….

These acts of terror have deeper political causes. These causes relate to U.S. lust for oil, its help in forming Al Qaeda and local rise of communal politics around issues of religious identity.

Any guesses for how telepathically the Indian Mujahideen and the “Concerned Citizens” zeroed in onto the exact same root cause. They say great minds think alike, well idiots think alike too and dangerously so.

But the mischief mongering of this pack of Useful Idiots does not stop there. These Idiots then go on to lay out far deeper root causes, and as evidence they manufacture the mythical bogey of “Hindutva Terrorism”. Yep, the same myth that The Hindu first tried to peddle unsuccesfully after the Malegaon Blasts and then Digvijay Singh tried to peddle during the Gujarat elections campaign.

The present theory of investigating agency deliberately overlooks the case of two Bajarang Dal workers getting killed in Nanded in April 2006. It also does not want to give serious thought to the narco-analysis of one of the survivors of the Nanded episode who said that now we Hindus should also do the acts of terror, in front of crowded mosques, else we will be regarded as eunuchs.

The e-mail further goes onto make a very serious and dangerous allegation against the BJP

In a way, now communal violence is being substituted by the acts of terror to consolidate the electoral base by communal party.

These Useful Idiots then go on to remind us why they are “Useful” to Terrorists and more importantly “what makes them idiots” when they make this seemingly silly but profoundly subversive demand

There is a need to have a National body with due representation from the socially concerned citizens and Human rights activists who can have a say in these matters and also who in an unbiased way can go to the truth of these acts

So who are these Useful Idiots who lost no time in issuing an apology for the Indian Mujahideen ?

Well leading the pack of Useful Idiots is retired IIT Mumbai Professor and known Communal Socialist Ram Puniyani who is the author of the original e-mail. Keeping him idiotic company are fellow Useful Idiots and known apologists for all things leftist, maoist?and jihadist – Asghar Ali Engineer, Digant Ozha, Shabnam Hashmi, M Hasan, L.S. Hardenia, Irfan Engineer.

Now some background on Useful Idiot-in Chief Ram Puniyani. Since yours truly is an almnus of IIT Mumbai I have had first hand experience of Ram Puniyani’s Left wing Acitivism and Political Correctness during the 1990s which he pursues with Taliban like Fanaticism. This is the same guy who amongst others?ensured that IIT Mumbai disrobed Swami Vivekananda from Saffron to Blue for fear of hurting Muslim sentiments. This is also the same guy who amongst others pressured the IIT Mumbai Administration from denying permission to Chandraprakash Dwivedi of Chanakya from speaking on Campus on grounds that it would vitiate the atmosphere.

That the IIT Mumbai Administration allowed a Left wing extremist like Ram Puniyani to pursue his activism on campus while snuffing any kind of intellectual challenge speaks to the insipid and moribun intellectual environment in the IITs for all the academic excellence. It also is a reminder that JNU is not the only intellectual wasteland where Left Wing rodents breed.

Offstumped Bottomline: We may not know who the Indian Mujahideen are or where they are holed up. But we now know who their Useful Idiot Apologists are and how dangerous their agenda is. Perhaps some Narco-Analysis of Ram Puniyani and Co. would be in order to aid in the Hunt for the Unknown Radical, RD-X

While this is a sweeping statement, there is lot of truth in it. I am from IIT Madras and I know how the leftists are trying to make their presence felt. They managed to scare away . They regularly screen movies with naxal propaganda, stage demonstrations (consisting of about 5-6 people, usually the hapless PhD students!). Recently they were demanding Binayak Sen’s release (as part of bigger group, of course).

Several of us are constantly at loggerheads with this bunch of bastards. However, it is strange that the IITs allow this nonsense to continue. The Humanities department in IITs (which is where these commies reside) was fashioned along the lines of MIT USA. It is high time that IITs throw away the Humanities dept and concentrate on technology.

    Great analysis, Nitin.

Spread the word. No longer can these self-appointed ‘Human rights’ activists be allowed the pretence to intelligence, fairness, honesty, legitimacy or national interest.

For too long have these witches and warlocks gone unchallened, aided by a pliant angrezi media which shares their leftist sympathies.

Now I guess, we only need to look out for these ‘concerned citizens’ to inveigle national awards (like Sardesai, Sagarika, Barka etc) or international awards (like Binayak Sen, Arundhati sen) so that their ridiculuous demands will appear genuine and/or legitimate.

    JMTPs etc.

Great post Yossarin…with friends like these (useful idiots Ram Punyani et al), who needs enemies?
Methink, all this huffing & puffing by the pseudo-sickular brigade…esp after the blasts is a crass display of the so-called ‘moral high ground’ from which these morons tend to bark time n again…moreso as they delude themselves into thinking that they have a divinely ordained right to ‘preach’ n sermonize, in their high-brow opinion, the ‘rabid communal forces’…so hellbent on destroying the social fabric of this great nation ie India….man, I sometimes ponder as to what do these guys (n gals too…;)) are smoking that they seem to be living in a time-warp era…that are they so oblivious to the fact that they can’t fathom the underlying reality of the proxy-war waged against Hindus & India by the jihadists n their cohorts (of which the p-sec brigade is a part of)…to wipe-off India off the face of earth or to convert it into dar-ul-islam from dar-ul-harb.

Given the lame-duck response (or rather the lack of it) by the turbaned chaprasi of the italian bar dancer, its suffice to say that we Indians never seem to learn from our follies n past mistakes…so one shouldn’t be suprised if we have to endure these kind of attacks again & again.

Dilli sarkar has finally sprung into action aftert the Jaipur blasts.

PM rejects demand for re-enactment of POTA

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday rejected BJP’s demand for re-enactment of POTA in the aftermath of the Jaipur blasts and said India would raise the issue of terrorism at the forthcoming Indo-Pak Foreign Ministers meeting.

“All issues which have a bearing on our relations will come up at the meeting,” Singh said in reply to spate of questions on the Jaipur blasts and who was behind them.

Rejecting the BJP demand for bringing back POTA, he said “there is no co-relation between POTA and terrorist strikes.”
Wondering “what has POTA achieved”, Singh said the attack on Parliament and Akshardham temple took place when POTA was in force. “There is no dearth of law in the country to deal with terrorism”, he added.

MMS should know that its not abouty having laws on the books but about sending strong signals that GoI mneans business that is sorely lacking. Neither USA nor Gujrat have seen jihadist attacks since the last time their leaders developed spine and a no-nonsense anti-terror stance. Must be coincidence rather than consequence, am sure….

MMS is right that POTA is no good. Bring back TADA plz!

The leftists consider educational institutes, arts, cinema, newspapers as means of controlling the masses; placing their people with aim of ‘capturing’ these institutes is part of their strategy to ultimately gain the control over everything.
These true Fascists will always try to prevent any POV but their own to be expressed. Like a pack of wolves they are trained to gang up on the opposition. So you will see an obscure film maker who makes a crappy documentry which nobody watches but promotes leftist message will be promoted as a great intellectual in the newspapers will be awarded some sort of National Film award (selection commitee being full of leftists).
This is the Chakra Vyuha that these leftists have laid to gain control over us.

    “….
The worst part of handling acts of terror, which has a bearing on the preventive measures, is the prevalent theory guiding the investigation authorities. As per this theory these acts are done by some Pakistan trained groups who want to spread communal disharmony.

The present theory of investigating agency deliberately overlooks the case of two Bajarang Dal workers getting killed in Nanded in April 2006. It also does not want to give serious thought to the narco-analysis of one of the survivors of the Nanded episode who said that now we Hindus should also do the acts of terror, in front of crowded mosques, else we will be regarded as eunuchs.”

  12. G says:

Well we all can debate till the cows come home but the point or rather the fact of the matter we are all a small minority in the sense that people who will vote against BJP in the next elections will be more. So even if BJP becomes the largest party in terms of numbers it may not get a majority and so all these people will gang up for power, money and whatnot and they will enjoy and make merry.

Its a win-win situation as far as the terrorists go in a country like India where they can kill and bomb wherever and whenever they want to and no one will arrest them ever. On top of this, they will get covert support from media, intellectuals, big shots sitting and making decisions and hence you see they can strike with impunity anytime.

What is perpelexing is why people are so blind that they dont realise the real danger of terrorism. I can understand one being against policies of BJP or they are against muslims..fine but one thing which everyone needs to be reminded of right now they are the best bet against terrorism.

How many more innocents lives do we need to give till it dawns on every individual about the dangers of supporting terrorists indirectly?

  13. T.S.D.Murthy says:

Quite an incisive piece. I wonder if we need to look deeper into the fact that inexorable bloodthirst and the unease of Islam with modernity go hand in hand. Islamists have serious difficulties in living in peace in multi-religious societies. Be it your own city – the neighbourhoods marked out in red in the city map as trouble-prone in the SP’s Office or the world at large – Somalia, Yemen,et al and of course the Middle East – the spots with seemingly interminable blood-letting are the ones where Islamists are dominant. I believe we need to take a hard look if the apparently remorseless acts of mayhem and murder are traceable to scriptural sanction of guitless violence against the non-believers.

Cong attacks BJP on Jaipur blasts

    http://in.news.yahoo.com/pti/20080516/r_t_pti_nl_politics/tnl-cong-attacks-bjp-on-jaipur-blasts-6adc8fa.html

New Delhi, May 16 (PTI) Stepping up its attack on the BJP on the Jaipur blasts, Congress today accused senior leader L K Advani and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje of attempting to whip up communal frenzy in the poll-bound state. The AICC also hailed Shivraj Patil as a “successful” Home Minister and pushed for a federal crime investigating agency to deal with acts of terror.

“Terrorists should be condemned and those who are trying to take political advantage of the situation should also be condemned,” party spokesman Shakil Ahmed told reporters. Ahmed said the job of “responsible” politicians is to calm the situation after incidents like terror attacks, but the language used by Advani and Raje showed that they are “trying to flare up the situation.

Gujarat is their role model”. Asked to elaborate on the Congress dig that in Rajasthan after “8 PM, no CM”, he said that “8 PM” is reference to “some advertisements on TV, about which I am not much aware”.

Seeking to put the blame on the BJP government in Rajasthan over the failure to prevent the blasts, Ahmed, who is also Minister of State for Home, said that law and order is primarily the responsibility of the state government. Replying to questions on the “competence” of those heading North Block, Ahmed hailed Shivraj Patil as a “successful” Home Minister whose tenure, he said, has seen decline in the terrorist acts.

To a query whether the Centre was afraid to name Pakistan and Bangladesh in the wake of the terror strikes, he said such a perception was wrong. He said a federal crime investigating agency would strengthen the hands of the government in dealing with acts of terror.

  19. Murali says:

    G,

nah, i think ur wrong here, the BJP is getting only more popular by the day, look at where they were in 2006 when they were practically written off and now they are doing very well even in the south. As you said they will form the single largest party and if that is more than 180 seats, they will form the government. But here is the difference, this time the people who will play the game at the center will make sure that the left and the congress are decimated. It will be a government playing hardcore hindutva against these people and it has the potential to polarise the people and also develop the country at the same time. This is a solid base for the future where BJP can win all by itself.

  20. Jiggs says:

The very next day, vasundhara raje blasted Padmashri Rajdeep and Sulabha reason coz these two idiots asked her madam do you intend to make this as a poll issue.
Boy Vasundhara took off on the lot…worth watching to look at the agony on their faces

overall… I think BJP gaining ground in NE, AP and TN is far more important than anywhere else. This is the strategic need of time. I don’t even mind saying forget delhi and up, it is not worth the efforts anymore. BJP and RSS wala can try courting Mayaji and that should sort out cong, left and sp for long time to come.

  22. anon says:

The BJP is a non entity in TN.In Andhra, the reddys and kapus vote for Congress, while the kammas are with TDP.In kerala, there is a huge divide between the ezhavas and nairs while the minorities are making hay.

The BJP has a solid base only in Karnataka, even here dubious mining mafia supports it in Bellary.

In north india, there is a substantial savarna population consisting of brahmanas, thakurs, khatris, kayasths, bhumihars, aggarwals etc who have a common world view enhanced by a common language,’etnicity’ and culture. What is the % of marathas, vokkaligas, lingayats, mudaliars, thevars in the blog world and how many of them share ‘our’ concerns.like reservation, hinduism. In Punjab, how many jat sikhs share the hindu world view.Do not be too harsh on MMS,who is a khukran Kohli from Potohar. He has suffered from Islam. It is sickening to see him trashed. He is able to see things from a vantage point. He has his compulsions.

Even in maharashtra the non-brahman marathas/CKPs have their apprehensions. The DMK/PMK have their own agendas. The Oriyas/assamese have their fears of bongs and kannadigas of tamils. Some may be imaginary but some are very real.

I am not decrying Hindu nationalism. The spirit should never wane but let us understand the complexities of india.

It is natural for intellectuals/technocrats/educated middle classes/mercantile classes to be fired by an idea. But peasant classes are more circumspect. Many new groups have also been ‘empowered’ literally by identity politics.

On the other hand traditional landed classes are loathe to share power with others. For eg:Marathas, rajputs, jat sikhs, goungers etc. Some are anti-’hindutva’ while others are pro. This has something to do with historical memories, partly manipulated by british, but partly grounded in reality.

The thakurs like mandal messiah, arjun singh, digvijay singh,Karan Singh,Amar Singh,Madhav Singh Solanki,Shankarsingh Wagela,’rajas’ like Jyotiraditya ,Jat Chieftains like Charan Singh’s son,Sachin Pilot have easier choices as status quoist/kisan/caste leaders.

A modern technocratic outlook would be inevitably ‘brahminical’in the broadest sense. This would be unchartered territory for most. Many cling to the ‘time tested’ Congress model which is now regressive.

But why has the BJP not been able to win over even mulayam in the heart of Aryavartha?

  23. ArjunVV says:

    Anon,

It is not that hard for BJP. The problem with BJP is its image portrayed by leftist media everywhere as brahminical and anti-SC ST etc. I know only BJP can unite all hindu casts and build a nationalist Bharatdesh and no one else. That is precisely today BJP-RSS fails to convey to masses (i.e. hindus who do not vote for BJP). BJP’s message only reaches educated ones or ones who have been rightly aligned since birth. In Maharashtra aam janta revolted when pizza lady took over congress. Most educated marathas and sc st obc casts sided with NCP. Brahmins and mostly uneducated marathas stayed with Shivsena-BJP. Except Mumbai shivsena-bjp has a very bad image in eyes of sc-sts-obcs and this is not due to leftist media but deep cultural issues. During ss-bjp rule in maharashatra so bad was the situation that shiv sena marathas openly used castiest remarks in public places (be it on train, bus, classroom or public stage). being sc I have first hand experience it myself. If any nationalist party supported by masses can succeed in Maharashtra it is NCP. If BJP distances itself from SS (which represents mostly uneducated and chauvinist marathas) and courts NCP it will be a sure winning combo for many many years in maharashtra. In South except Karnataka, the issue again seems related to deep cast divisions. It saddens me to see the South which held up against islamic agressions and preserved a lot of our civilization is now in grip of missionaries. BJP still has a good option with Jaya and Naidu.

The worst bit is NE and Bengel. I feel due to large influx of muslim bangadeshis we will have a kashmir like situation there in 10 years time. But that will give India a good opportunity to heavily militarize borders with China and BD and hopefully then BJP in center will clean-up NE and bengal of jihadi evil. My heart pains to imagine all the damage jihadi bangadeshis have done and will be doing to tribals in NE destroying the rich heritage forever.
