The Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi anti-terrorism record is now a broken record. Gutless wonder Shivraj Patil’s lack of intelligence worse than a cliche.
It is no longer about ridding India of the scourge of terrorism?but it is now about saving India from the malignant cancer of passivism.
Nothing short of a political chemotherapy that purges the mindset of muslim appeasement and gutless inaction will suffice. For far too long the BJP has harping on the dissolution of POTA and the hanging of Afzal. The reality is neither the enacting of POTA nor the hanging of Afzal will ensure justice to the many victims of the more than 10 attacks of mass terror during the UPA regime.
There is only one way to shame the UPA regime into action. It is to make the victims of terrorism the face of the anti-terrorism movement.
When Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi are forced to answer the following questions posed by the victims of mass terror, they will have not even a fig leaf of an excuse to cover the shame of the malignant affliction that underlies their teflon coated conscience and sphinx like silence.

well, i am sure that a state government cant do much about this when the central government is sleeping on internal security, but after the ajmer blast in rajasthan, i would expect a BJP government run by none other than an efficient vasundhara raje too be much more careful especially in jaipur, when gujarat can screen every truck that enters its borders whether it is international or national, i expect a BJP government in rajasthan to do the same, i am sure that these terrorists did not come through the Pak-india border in rajasthan, that is pretty well sealed. There is a very simple brutal solution to this problem. I know it sound like a ‘dumb bushism’, but it’s true when it comes to India’s jihadi enemies, we have to fight them over there so we don’t have to fight them here.

However I do not foresee the UPA govt being shamed into action. For the first step in solving any problem (howsoever complicated) is to accept and realise that there IS A problem. If the UPA governments’ only response to the charge – that they have failed miserably to tackle the scourge of terrorism – is to point out that the NDA freed terrorists in Kandahar, then we can very well imagine why there are so many important questions unanswered.

I remember reading about 2 weeks ago that the Election Commission censored BJP’s TV ads in Karnataka that blamed Congress for inflation. This is down right an assault on the freedom of speech.
Here is the connection to the current issue and suggestion. Election Commission will not allow TV ads putting faces of terror victims in front of the common man. BJP, hopefully, can do this though BEFORE election code of conduct comes in to picture in other assembly elections and before the parliament elections. (BJP should also challenge EC’s decision in Karnataka in the supreme court).
Unfortunately, whenever BJP talks qualitatively about its record being better than that of UPA, Congress talks back about Kandahar, attack on the parliament, attack on the temple in Gujarat during NDA regime. BJP needs to stop making a black vs. white case and instead engage in a shade of gray discussion with solid supporting numbers behind it’s case. More specifically, it needs to compare the performance of NDA vs. UPA regimes on terrorism by comparing # of terror attacks, # of deaths due to terror, # of terror cells busted, # of terrorists arrested, # of terrorists killed, # of terror attacks in which the terrorist ring hasa been cracked, # of days after the terror attack in which the terrorist were arrested / shot etc.
More importantly, it needs to be talking about what the next NDA regime would do that the UPA regime is not (at least part of its plan that can be talked about publicly).
Things that should to be done but need not be spoken about should include taking terror ball back in the court of its parents – Pakistan and to an extent Bangladesh. This should include support to any & every outfit that supports secessionist movements within Pakistan, spreading fake Pak currency in Pakistan, feeding arsenic / poison to terrorist that are under arrest or even better killing them in “encounters” so that another Azhar Masood never has to be released, For every 1 explosion in India there need to be 3 “firecrackers” in Pakistan. Remember that Israel announcing that it will demolish the houses of suicide bombers’ parents etc. had in impact on the # of suicide bombers in Israel blowing themselves up. In a nutshell, India needs to talk the language that terrorists and their financiers understand. We need to stop claiming that “Kutil Neeti” was written by an Indian and start practicing it.

Jaipur blasts: NRIs in US call for calm
New York: Support and sympathies have poured in for the victims of the deadly Jaipur terror blasts from the Indian community across the United States.
As they watched pictures of ghastly incidents on their TV sets, Indians were shocked and many who had their loved ones in Jaipur tried frantically to contact them.
Condemning the blasts, in which at least 60 people were killed and 200 injured, Indian National Overseas Congress (INOC) appealed to all communities to maintain communal harmony.
INOC President Dr Surinder Malhotra called it a crime against humanity and urged State and Central law enforcement authorities to bring perpetrators to justice.
Expressing sympathy for the victims, he urged the people to be vigilant against those who might try to take advantage of the situation to damage pluralistic framework of India.
Decrying the blasts in the “harshest terms,” ‘NRIs for Secular and Harmonious India’ called for a thorough probe and appealed to people of all faiths to stay united and defeat the handful of terrorists.
“Our prayers are with the victims and the families of the dead and injured,” said Acharya Kumar Podda and Dr Najma Sultana in a statement.
The community demanded apprehension of the perpetrators and harshest punishment for them.

Perisitence and perseverence are the name of the game. How come small groups, religous or political, are able to force their agendas on a nation of billions? Why are a miniscule Communists ruling the roost? Why even small minorities manage to extract benefits proportinally far greater to their numeric strength. The answer is organisational strngth and persitence with the agenda.
It is not required that all Hindus must come together to challenge the present situation. Even if a substantial number is motivated to think on national/Hindu interset line, the purpose will be achieved. All big things have a humble beginning. The situation, in this sense is much better than 1947 or even 1992 when all dissenting voices were instantly castigated as communal and insane. Just keep it up.

1. The muslim rulers did a favor on Indian people by “liberating” them from the clutches of manuvaadis (ancient version of BJP/RSS)
