Short one while Offstumped is on sabbatical. Rahul Gandhi did the usual rounds of tribal hamlets in Karnataka tom-tomming his commitment to Tribal issues (see Offstumped post on Rahul’s non-existent record in ever doing anything on tribal issues). The bigger story from Karnataka however was Rahul Gandhi’s visit but his sidestepping questions on projecting a Dalit Chief Minister while Mallikarjuna Kharge looked on. Since the return of S.M. Krishna to active politics, the simmering faultline in the Karnataka Congress has re-emerged. This feud may very well end up be the Congress’ bane in the run up to the elections.
Meanwhile Oily Moily, out of favor from Karnataka and busy currying political favor to the Congress Chief and Heir-apparent has been training his guns on Mr. Advani on the Kandahar episode and his memoirs.
Offstumped Wake Call to the Congress:
From Abhishek Singhvi to Veerappa Moily the Congress spokespersons stand guilty of not just utterly lacking in grace but in fact?handing a slap in the face of terror victims. When the Congress faces the voters in 2008 and 2009 the BJP’s handling of Kandahar is not on the ballot. What is on the ballot however is the UPA’s Anti-Terrorism record from 2004 to 2009. If the Congress believes it can make this about “who has a worse terror record” it is grossly mistaken. The terror victims from Mumbai to Malegaon, Varnasi to Hyderabad need justice and they are not likely to be amused by wisecracks from Congress clowns.

Bangalore, the technology capital of India, has become a Jehadi den thanks to Congress’s inaction for Muslim Votebank.
International Islamic terrorists from Bangalore have been caught in UK and elsewhere who tried to bomb out British Airports.
CONGRESS NEVER TAKES ACTION AGAINST JEHADIS FOR MUSLIM VOTEBANK, THUS THEY GET EMBOLDENED.
The riot Bangalore saw when Congress and Jaffer Shariff organized hardliner rally after 2 months of Saddam hanging was most bizzare to say the least.

SC just slapped Guj’s Modi on his face. No reaction to that?
Ihu – will indulge despite being indisposed lest you assume offstumped is shying away on this. First don’t believe it is a slap modi govt played it well, dragged it out till elections were over so there is no media hype Second they got what they wanted with 3 gujurat police officers in it. Ultimately if riot accused are arrested and victims delivered justice who gets a share of the credit ?
IHU,
The request for the re-probe of Gujurat riot cases was initially done by the NHRC, and a letter supporting the request was recently sent by the UPA government. The same UPA government that constituted the Banerjee Committee, that claimed that the Sabarmati Express coach S-6 burning was an accident, or perhaps due to fire from inside the coach as in the Karsevaks burnt themselves. The Banerjee Committee was deemed illegal by the Supreme Court.

There were 400+ communal incidents in gujurat post-independence and pre-godhra, but they will not be re-probed because they do not fit the anti-hindu ‘conclusions’ that the UPA would like to reach. Abdul latif, a Congressi leader from Ahmedabad, and a close associate of Dawood Ibrahim and previous Gujurat CM Chimanal patel was implicated in many riots. He was later shot dead by the Gujurat Police. There are plenty of muslim-bhindranwale’s in gujurat congress’s closet, if one chooses to look, but again that is not the point the Congress is trying to make.
In the meantime, the psuedo-seculars and congressis will jump with joy, stating “modi slapped in the face”. Due to their impotent rage at being unable to beat Modi, they will hang on to every straw, like a drowning man should. There is no indication yet that Mr Modi was at all involved in any way, yet they will harp as if Modi himself was indicted.
The probe will refresh hindus memories of the riots, they will be reminded of the ghastly Godhra attack on hindus that exploded the hindu rage, the general hindu-hating jihadi-hugging stance of the Congress, and that will ONLY help Modi and the BJP.
If anything, it was the people of gujurat, slapping the congress in the face in the 2007 elections !
Aryan – good reply. Yossarin – get well soon
Aryan,
Recently someone wrote that this blog is the ultimate refuge of the demented ones clogging the blogosphere. How true that is!
“Shaming of Modi” the biggest show ever. It has everything Fantasy, drama, spurts of futile ejaculation. Brought to you by liberal douche bags.
IHU,
I understand you are intellectually uncapable of responding to an argument so have to resort to name calling. If it came down to name calling, I can still beat you pound per pound, but I’d rather savor an intellectual victory. =)
IHU:
Feel free to contribute intellectually to the discussions. I have not see you making a point yet other than taking cheap personal potshots. Very well said Aryan.
IHU – if this blog is “the ultimate refuge of the demented ones clogging the blogosphere” wonder what you will call the MSM ELM – the brave torchbearers fighting for truth and justice against all odds?
While you are wallowing in your concern for the victims of the post Godhra riots pl also spare some tears for the Godhra carnage victims or do you like the rest of the pesudo secular jihadi loving types endorse the findings of the Banerjee commission?
Dear IHU,
Read the following link. A blogger had posted it on this page previously.
Since you have raised question marks against Yossarin, bloggers of this site in general, Modi in particular, this link will definitely open your eyes to the truth.

On my part, I disagree with your perceptions. Yossarin and his blogs are doing immense service to this Nation by ferreting out facts and putting them in proper perspective. It only takes a small burning lamp to dispel the darkness.
