Stop having congenital hatred for BJP. I begin to suspect your origins and leanings. I do not think you are Bagmar Satish. No Hindu in their right mind would defend a bogus family like Gandhi.
India is at crossroads today. We need a leader who calls a spade a spade and just that. We do not need a PM at one house and control at another. I do not think neither Sonia nor Rahul have anything in them, leave alone remarkable, to rule this great nation of ours. They both are sitting there only because of the bogus surname they carry. Even the surname was a product of spin. So I have issues with the raison d etre of the Gandhi clan.
Some of the reasons why I have a problem with Gandhi family.
1. Nehru did not listen to Vallabhai Patel on offering plebiscite to Kashmir when all that Gen Kariappa needed was a couple of days to wipe out Pakistani occupation in Kashmir in 1948.
2. Nehru naivete in trusting Chu en lai and Chairman Mao. He gifted Aksai Chin to China. He didn’t even order the armed forces to retaliate. the 900 Indian Jawans who fought the entire 1962 war were only defending themselves. He was a weak Prime Minister.
3. Nehru offering Haj Subsidy in 1957 to muslims in India was another betrayal of his Muslim fondness. Today that precedent has resulted in special civil laws and arrangements for Muslims in India. Even the present government has announced 6 Lakh crore rupees development plan only for muslims in India in the 11 five year plan. What do you want to call this? Example of Secularism!
4. Indira Gandhi bludered in 1971 war. Although the Indian Army marched into Karachi and even to the outskirts of Islamabad she had no strategic thinking to see what is good for India. She also had 90000 Pak soldiers in custody in Bangladesh. No measures were taken to bring to book the pak officers who butchered 30 Lakh Hindus in Bangladesh. She could have ordered Pak to vacate Kashmir forever. She didn’t. We had Siachin, Militancy and Kargil.
5. Indira’s contribution didn’t end with that. She created Bindranwale. Only the guile of Narasimha Rao undid the mistakes though not completely yet.
6. The anti-sikh riots were a shame on our nation. At least the Modi government shot dead 360 Hindu rioters during Gujarat violence. So do not paint a saintly image of Congress.
7. The pathetic response to Kashmir militancy and inertness to the plight of Kashmiri Pandits smacks of morbid desire to see the destruction on Hindus from India.
8. Do not talk of Babri Masjid as a crime. During the last 1200 years of Islam in India there have been destruction of 10000 or more of major temples in India. If you want know a little about it just visit Qutub Minar, Mathura, Varnasi and Ayodhya. So please stop trying to make Hindus feel sorry for Ayodhya. It was the first time Hindus demolished a mosque.
Perhaps the only good thing that Congress did and that too when there was no Gandhi in power was during Narasimha Rao’s regime. He also wanted to see the end of Babri Masjid perhaps.
9. Botched up policy in Srilanka by Indira and then Rajiv’s mishandling of Srilankan issue. India lost 1000 jawans for nothing. If there is one person who can chronologicaly tell you anything about it, it would be me so. So at least do not defend the Gandhi family on this one.
Rajiv made India loose its face in the world.
10. Sonia’s annointment as head of Congress party. She has single-handedly contributed to 100’s and 1000’s of conversions of Hindus to Christianity in post independent India. Her policies have made Hindus feel threatened. Her government is perhaps the only one in the world to question the existence of Lord Ram in a court of law. A wonderful example of Sickularism. Keep it up.
11. Rahul Gandhi being projected as the next only hope for India. I am sorry there are other qualified and exceptional leaders to lead this country. i do not like some one who bears a bogus name and has everything around him bogus to rule my nation.
These Gandhi’s can’t even speak our language properly and how the hell are they going to understand us.
