My Life, My Country - Mr. L.K. Advani’s much awaited autobiography is already making news with an overdrive of media speculation part fuelled by carefully scripted marketing one would assume by the publishers part with to do with the media’s BJP obsession.
The media hounds are predictably out in the droves speculating on pet controversial themes like the Jinnah episode. With no dearth of anonymous Senior BJP Leaders ever willing to sound a sour note, the Advani memoirs are getting publicity alright of one kind or the other.
The Jinnah episode we are now told by the PTI is no matter of regret for Mr. Advani, and rightly so feels Offstumped. The Jinnah remarks were distorted and blown out of proportion to begin with and Mr. Advani’s observations had little to do with his position on contemporary issues facing India, none of which have changed in any measure after the remarks were delivered. Mr. Advani’s reflections on his Jinnah remarks while of historical academic curiosity are not the most interesting aspect of the memoirs that Offstumped is looking forward to. The Babri Masjid demolition too will have its say in the memoirs but again with a court case and a commission of inquiry pending one shouldnt expect too much from Mr. Advani beyond whats already in the public domain.
On the other hand his reflections on his relationship with Atal Behari Vajpayee should make for an interesting read. Not so much for the media manufactured accounts of an Advani-Vajpayee rift but for the uniqueness of this relationship.
It can be safely said that the Vajpayee-Advani relationship is without a parallel in the history of any modern democracy. It is perhaps the most understated phenomena in Indian Politics with barely any extensive insights or commentary giving an insiders view of what endured that relationship.
To better appreciate why this relationship is without parallel let us consider some other relationships that have dominated politics in India and other modern democracies. In recent times you had the Tony Blair-Gordon Brown relationship with its characterized by an unseemly lust for power – the former couldn’t find the grace to leave soon enough and the latter couldn’t seem to wait to move in to 10 Downing Street. Then a few decades back you had the MGR-Karunanidhi relationship which ended in acrimony and political rivalry. The asymmetry in the Gandhi-Nehru relationship makes it an apples to oranges comparison. Every other relationship in every political formation in Indian politics has had an unseemly falling out of one kind or another almost invariably on account of the lust for power.
The BJP under Vajpayee and Advani is unique in that it has never split and every public falling out by a dissident leader has almost always seen the dissidents fade into political irrelevance while the mother ship sails on. The past six decades of democracy in India have been characterised by one-man/one-woman shows with the express purpose of serving the ego of the individual at the top with no tolerance for either dissent or for a line of succession outside the family.
It is in this sense the Vajpayee-Advani tango is unqiue and without a parallel.
Neither had power gifted on a platter to them, neither lusted for power in an unseemly manner. They were together in thick and thin, deferring to each other with dignity and mutual respect. We know all of this from public knowledge. What would be particularly interesting to see if in the memoirs Mr. Advani gets to the heart of what made this relationship enduring and how it withstood its darkest moments. What was the source of this trust and doubts, if any,? when they did surface were clarified.
Offstumped wishes Mr. Advani the best for the impending release of his memoirs and looks forward to reviewing them.

India has been ruled by minorities for last 1000 years. The majority got a taste of power, largely thanks to Shri Advani’s historic effort.
He has changed course of India’s history like nobody since the days of Adi Sankara.
Yes, in my opinion, Advanji will be more relevant in India for next 1000 years than even Gandhiji.
We all are eagerly waiting for this book. Please make sure, its distributed widely and available thro’ Amazon.
Rediff says, probably quoting PTI, that Advaniji spend a whole chapter on the Jinnah issue. I think it would be interesting only because Advani can give the background of the issue and possible point to BJP direction like the future of Muslims in BJP.
I agree that relationship between Advani-Vajpayee would be really interesting although I don’t really think he would do too much analyzing himself. It’s better if a third person who understands the relationship and has seen it up close – a long time BJP insider – writes about it.
I’m looking forward to the memoirs too. I am sure he has plenty to say, especially about his/BJP/Jan Sangh side of things during Nehru and Indira era which we usually don’t get from JNU affiliated historians, text book writers, and journalists.
Chandra,
The actual context of Advani’s Jinnah comments was completely distorted by media
Advani quoted Swami Ranganathananda, the ex head of RK Mission, and a top scholar.
Advani said the EXACT SAME THING TWICE BEFORE INDIA: Once he was Dy PM while releasing a book, and again in the remembrace function of Swami in Delhi WHERE PM MMS SHARED THE PODIUM WITH ADVANI.
(if you want, I can give you its reporting as appeared in the Anandabazar Patrika, a top Bengali Daily- it was prior to Advani’s visit to Pakistan, and you will see he said exactly same things)
Indian Press completely blacked out these speeches, and hyped up his same speech on Pakistan.
What do you expect Togadia to say should you insert a microphone under his nose and ask the question: what do you say when Jinnah has been given secular certificate by advani!
He will naturally go ballistic.
Fact however is, Advani did NOT say Jinnah as secular. HE QUOTED JINNAH’S OWN COMMENTS TO SHOW THE MIRROR TO PAKISTAN.
You have ommitted, rather overlooked, the great historical significance of Sardar Patel-Mahatama Gandhi and Sardar Patel-Jawaharlal Nehru relationships. In both the relationships, Sardar has come out victoriously, historically speaking. If Sardar was obedient servant of Mahatma Gandhi, he was a faithful deputy of Jawaharlal Nehru, who scorned his valuable advices, to the great detriment of this Nation.
Advani’s memoirs, to be historically relative, must be
matched by Vajpayee’s own memoirs. At least the Forward of Advani’s memoirs should be penned by Vajpayee.
There is absolutely no harm in saying that Advani has changed the course of history in India and put the Congress on the mat.
” I respect Jinnah. He created Pakistan single-headedly.”
http://www.rediff.com/news/2005/jun/06inter1.htm
Tathagata,
please don’t try to airbrush hajvani’s pakistan trip. this confused moron’s sin was not that he mentioned jinnah’s “secular” speech before the constituent assembly. his sin was two other things:
1>in pakistan mentioning the babri demoliton as his saddest day. hindu sindhis were permanently banished from pakistan — that was not a sad day for him. jinnah bifurcating bharat(which was a unified entity since days of asoka) was not a sad day for him. destruction of unused structure — the saddest day in his entire 80 year old existence.
2>hamid mir should have asked a follow-up question. you respect jinnah, not because he was a great lawyer or not because he was secular in his initial days, but because “He created Pakistan single-headedly”. the followup question should have been: the Let and Jem also want to create several mini-pakistan’s in india. do you also respect them and is that the reason why you had the foreign minister pesonally escort their leader to afghanistan.
look there are atleast half-dozen junior leaders better qualified in the bjp to lead the country — but this guy has almost a faustian greed for power. so please don’t try to patronize the rss leaders as some naive social workers. sudershan-ji has more intellectual ability and intellectual integrity in his finger tip than this fraud has in his entire body.
CK
The truth of the matter is Mr Advani single handedly brought the hindutva movement to the masses, and its true like Tathagata says brought majority rule in India after a millenium, one has to give credit where it is due. I dont think showing some respect to this great leader would hurt considering the power hungry midgets India has produced like the Nehru dynasty.
I’m not sure what ‘faustian greed’ you are referring to, he was more qualified then Vajpayee to be PM the last time around, after all he was the one that started the hindu revolution, but he deferred to Vajpayee as he was more acceptable, so you are factually incorrect. Now
he is the most ‘acceptable’ leader that the NDA has, it will take Modi a few years to be accepted across India.
Maybe he said the things in pakistan because he is a smart politician. Maybe he was talking to the Indian public, while in pakistan. It’s difficult in ’secular’ India to become universally acceptable with unbridled hindutva as your core message, as Modi’s example has shown.
Besides, we should all congratulate Jinnah for creating pakistan, he was a realist. Partition of India was the best thing that ever happened to India. If it werent for partition, India would have seen 20 more insurgencies, just a lot more bloodier then kashmir, and then eventually the result would have been the same, seperate nations, just after immense blood-letting from a protracted civil war. The “unified” hindu bharat varsha you speak of was a hindu/buddhist kingdom that was destroyed when muhammad bin-qasim took sindh in the 7th century, so please check your history.
Advani-Atal were the chief architects of blossoming Kamal
They brought Hindu right to power something that to imagine was too radical
To an overwhelming majority they gave a right wing channel
Hindu Hriday Samrats I and my brethren are indebted to you Kal Aaj Aur Kal
>>in pakistan mentioning the babri demoliton as his saddest day.
CHANDRA: Advani said exact same thing in India, 100 of times.
BUT HAVE YOU EVER READ HIS FULL STATEMENT?
ITS ADVANI WHO QUESTIONED, “WHERE IS THE MOSQUE”? HE NEVER REFERRED TO THAT STRUCTURE AS “BABRI”.
ADVANI SAID IT WAS HIS SADDEST DAY, NOT BECAUSE THAT STRUCTURE WAS DEMOLISHED. IT WAS HIS SADDEST DAY, BECAUSE IN HIS OPINION, AN ORGANIZED MOVEMENT BECAME UNCONTROLLABLE, AT LEAST FOR FEW HOURS.
WAKE UP AND SEE THRO’ PRESS WHO DELIBERATELY PLAYS MISCHIEF FOR THEIR VESTED INTEREST.
CK>> so please don’t try to patronize the rss leaders as some naive social workers. sudershan-ji has more intellectual ability and intellectual integrity in his finger tip than this fraud has in his entire body.
BJP gets support of many people, social groups who have no RSS background. If RSS were controlling BJP everyday, this would not have been possible.
I for one come from non-RSS background. Never attended any Sakha, though started appreciating RSS’s work, ideology, thanks to my Bengali middle class background, whose heroes, ideals match to a great degree with RSS’s. Every Part of Parivar, whether BMS, ABVP, VHP…BKS.., all are doing great work.
Not making BJP a wholly owned subsidiary of RSS makes perfect sense. And as you said, smart RSS leaders are not unaware of this.
That’s the reason why RSS, Togadias are mum when this book is being released. Because, they have seen the disastrous effect when they shoot off their mouth earlier on Jinnah episode.
advani did not single handedly bring the hindutva movement to the masses. all the rss affiliates, especially the vhp (whose leaders today are not in talking terms with hajvani), played an equally important role. in 1977 general election jan sangh(created and nurtured by dayal/mukherji) won 99 l.s seats. advani who was a junior member then, made the 99 go to 130 in 30 years. sudhershan-ji after the last election debacle(remember the shining india campaign debacle–80% living in $2 a day told by an incredibly arrogant politician that lo and behold india is shining!) told this moron to hand over power to the next generation. thatcher/reagan/raju-bhai created their revolutions, groomed the next generation and retired gracefully; but advani will probably jump from the funeral pyre itself if he smells a vacant kursi.
his thirst for power would be forgivable if his ideology was consistent. core issues of ram temple/ucc/370 are absolutely unimportant to this dhimmi — power simply for the sake of ego gratification. jinnah was responsible for murder of 2million hindus, ethnically cleansing pakistan/b.g. of hindus and kashmir imbroglio. some people want to congratulate jinnah for that. but please pause and consider this statement: likud leader in germany — “i respect hitler. he single-handedly wiped jews out of europe” — what kind of reception would the israelis have given him. as guru-ji once said, “politics is a whore-house” and thank god i am in no way associated with politics, but even whores should have some honor…
>> especially the vhp (whose leaders today are not in talking terms with hajvani)
Fact remains, today VHP can find no better leader than Advani to protect Hindutva. Will they go to CPIM, COngress, RJD, NCP? Never.
VHP, BJP – both belongs to Parivaar. But they have different role to play in society, issues.
Its a long debate, and we can see it from different perspective. As long as its cooperative, and not disruptive, its OK.
Look at CPIM today. On one side, its Buddha Bhattacharjee- ‘liberal face’. On another side, its Pandhe- CITU boss- ‘hardliner’.
IF AN AUTHORATIRIAN IDEOLOGY LIKE COMMUNISM CAN CO EXIST WITH BOTH BUDDHA AND PANDHE, HINDUTVA WILL NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH ADVANI AND VHP.
Greatest power of Hindutva is that its cooperative.
No ideology, doctrine in the world is so flexible, cooperative like Hindutva.
Will we read about LKA’s days as an extremist in Sindh pre-1947, his move to Rajasthan, and the build up of the Jan Sangh in that state, his movie reviews and his own favored top-10 list, and his long relationship with the Sher-e-Sindh; GM Syed?
Tathagatha,
VHP is perfectly capable of going to the Congress. The locks on Ramjanmabhoomi were opened by Rajiv Gandhi.
Note every state has a BJP government, VHP has to protect Hindu interests in those states too.
I am not aware of what lead to the BJP-VHP spat, and I do not trust the media reports on this.
I respect Mr. Advani for his role in Indian politics, but I am distressed by the kind of people he had around him, in particular, Pramod Mahajan and Sudheendra Kulkarni.
CK,
Advani did single handedly bring about the hindu revolution. The earlier election that you mention was after emergency, even the american republican party would have won seats because of the anger of the people against the Congress. RSS was and still is a fringe organization, if there is anyone that can take credit for bringing hindutva to the masses, its mr Advani. RSS gave birth to hindutva, Mr Advani mass marketed it.
There was nothing wrong with the shining india campaign, the BJP could have done a india dazzling campaign, or india darkening campaign, it would’nt have mattered. It’s called anti-incumbency, its a fact of Indian politics, besides you have blame all BJP for that campaign, not just Mr Advani.
The “ram temple/ucc/370″ issues cannot be undertaken unless BJP has 300 members in the parliament, even if Prithvi Raj Chauhan re-incarnate was leading it.
The accusation that Advani is ‘power hungry’ is a little absurd. He deferred to Vajpayee when he did not have to, and again today, he is the PM-in-Waiting because he is the only one that is universally acceptable.
Comparing partition to holocaust is a bit of a stretch, dont think there were trains full of nazis murdered by jews sent back to Berlin. Holocaust was an attempt by the nazis to kill all jews, Partition was the division of India into a muslim country, and a secular one, the ethnic cleansing of hindus in a muslim country was a foregone conclusion. One has to blame Gandhi for not being a realist, not jinnah for being one.
Hindus are not jews, and never will be. If hindus were as aggressive as jews were, we would have broken pakistan into a few more pieces, subjugated China, and colonized Bangladesh. But again, hindus are NOT jews.
All the arguments you present would make sense in an alternate ‘extreme-right-wing’ isreal like hindu universe, which unfortunately for us, just does not exist. Hindus are too ’secular’, too left-leaning-gandhi-non-violent-BS following for these arguments to make sense.
Aryan,
Mr. Advani happened to be the one of the faces of RJB movement, and BJP reaped the political benfits of the movement.
The movement owes it success to thousands of VHP workers, svayamsevaks and sants like Acharya Dharmendra and Sadhvi Rithambara.
With the exception of possibly Gujarat, BJP is hopelessly dependent on Swayamsevaks.
And as far as Jews are concerned, Jews have been oppressed throughout their history and it is only after the holocaust did they started to fight back, Hindus have been battling Muslims from the invasions till today.
I find it ridiculous to pillory Advani for stating the fact that Jinnah was secular. He hadn’t done Pakis a favor by reminding them of Jinnah’s wine-drinking, pork-eating ways — he had actually made the squirm because they like to think of Jinnah as a pious Muslim who founded a theocratic state.
So yes, Jinnah was secular, as were many of histry’s mass-murderers like Hitler, Stalin, Lenin and Mao.
Actually, those angered by Advani’s description of Jinnah are themselves victims of secularist conditioning. Why is being ’secular’ considered to automatically confer virtue on the person dubbed secular?
One question to ALL secular party in India.
Was Jinnah a Secular/Communal??
so we wait for response from Laloo,Mulayam,CPM,and of course Congress and their Muslim friend.
I think Media should have asked this question to thse Secular guy.
Ot,
If ignoring Hindus concerns is secular (as is the meaning of being secular in India today), surely Jinnah is a secular person, but based on any other standard definition Jinnah is not a secular person. Sure he ate pork or smoked or did what ever – he was being a white men – but that doesn’t make him secular. He hated Hindus and used white British to get his way. His main was to continue Muslim domination of Hindus as was before, and while, the British rule – he seem to have arrived at it latter in his political life, but still there’s where he ended up.
I have no idea why Advaniji would say such as thing – one reason why I want to read his first hand account in his book without media playing with words. But that still doesn’t take away anything from his contribution to the right/nationalistic cause in any way..
Dont belive these Doormat Media who in the past has done such dirty reporting.
Remember Coffin Scam which Media raised,
Sonia raised in Election campaign BUT didnot Raised in Parliament.
We all know how thse Dirty Media Twist the words then go ballastic.
AND this is the reason we Common man need OFFSTUMP to know the True story.
And dear just be Prepared for Media doing Dirty analysis of the Book when released.
I bet Juicy NEWS will soon be coming from our Doormat Media once Book is released.
I have a question, why do you people care so much about secularism anyway ??
When a politician, like Advani, makes a statement in Pakistan, Jinnah was secular, his status gets increased overnight from a politician to a statesman! It requires lot of courage to face rough weather from all corners, and even lose the face/position in the party. Advani sufferred all this. Now vindication is coming over his side and NDA cum BJP has accepted him as Prime Minister-in-waiting. If he had lust for power, there was not a trace when he made his Jinnah statement. A Statesman always looks ahead of his times, overriding the political exigencies of the prevailing times.
And when he made his famous Jinnah statement, he was referring to Jinnah’s speech made in the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan. By the standards of this speech, secular Jinnah is more acceptable than communal Jinnah.
Look to our Lok Sabha records, before NDA came to power. He called Pakistan a ‘rogue’ state and had appealed to US and UNO to rein in Pakistan for all its nefarious activities against India.
His advocacy of Hindutva during his Rath-Yatra, was more genuine and secular than his melting down under the compulsions of NDA and other contemporary politics.
What his book reveals and unreveals will be best judged by all citizens and his own written word will be his own testimony to his character.
Robi Sen,
Its not Advani Vs RSS, after all RSS ideology spawned Advani, but the argument is who deserves most credit of bringing hindutva to the masses, and I think that rests with Mr Advani, ofcourse with the invaluable help of RSS cadres. Every movement needs it soldiers, but also absolutely needs a competent leader. The leader is blamed when a movement goes awry, so therefore, it should be the leader that should be given most credit when it is successful.
Hindus have been battling jihadi invasions till today, but how ?
We could have destroyed Bin-qasim, Ghauri, ghaznavi 100 times over easily due to superior forces, but refused to crush them completely despite plenty of opportunities. We could have taken all of kashmir and a strategic piece of NWFP in 47′, but didnt. We could have broken pakistan into more manageable pieces in 65′ or 71′, but chose not to. We could have exacted brutal revenge for the bangladeshi hindu genocide, on the 90 thousand Paki POWS, but chose not to. Eventually the responsibility of choosing Gandhi, Nehru who made tons of strategic blunders over Bose and Patel, lies with majority hindu Indian electorate.
Its not just important to fight back, but it is also important how, and the Isrealis definitely are an inspiration.
Atalji has rightfully said in the preface of this book that he hopes and prays that the best of Advaniji is yet to come. As was the case with Vajpayeeji, if LKA does not become PM of India next year, it is India’s loss and NOT his. Two people who gave up all material desires at an early age to become pracharaks and endured such a strong relationship through all the turmoil of last 50+ years are truly the present day Ram & Lakshman. These are the rare gems that when in power were not corrupted by it and when out of it (most of there life) have not compromised their principals for its sake. How many people, especially in today’s politics if not even in the common citizenry, can look in the mirror and say that? There are NO parallels anywhere else in the wolrd – neither today nor at any time in the history of the world for this kind of an enduring relationship of 2 stalwarts of democracy. My hats off to them.
Yossarin:
You need to write an article focusing on history created by the “secular” media with its intentionally distorted reporting.
2 recent events that come to mind are the “Jinah controversy” where the “Jinah’s speech to the constituent assembly being secular” was reported as “Jinah Secular – Advani says”.
The other being the “Sohrabuddin speech” of Narendra Modi. The basis of the complaint was a report dated 5th December 2007 of the Times of India by one Shri Prashant Dayal. The relevant extract in the Times of India reads as under:
Modi…….you tell what should be done to Sohrabuddin?
People at the rally: Kill him, kill him.
Modi: Well, that is what I did. And I did what was necessary.” The last sentence of the report of the Times of India had generated controversy in the whole nation. Television Channels and News Papers have made comments to the effect that Modi had stated that ‘Sohrabuddin got what he deserved’, or that ‘it is a confessional statement by him’ or that ‘Modi has justified a murder’.‘The Statesman’ dated 6th December 2007 quoted Modi as having said – “he (Sohrabuddin) has got what he deserved”: The Hindustan Times of 6th December quoted Modi as saying “Well then, that’s it.”
None of these “main stream” media have apologized for “creating” histroy of a wrong kind and having miserably failed with “journalistic ethics”. Let’s call their bluff.

T. Mukherjee,
Advani says what you say about Jinnah being secular in IT interview….Looks like that’s why RSS has come back to him…
IS IT NOT HARMFUL FOR COUNTRY TO EXPOSE SOME IMPARTANT MATTERS, WHICH WERE NOT EXPOSED IN FAVOUR OF COUNTRY’S BENIFITS?
ANY POLTICIAN WHICH FALLS FROM TOP, THEN HE TRYES TO GET UP, BUY FALL AND FALL. THEN HE USE ANY TRICK TO GET UP. THIS IS THE BEST TRICK TO OPEN SECRECTS OF GOVRNMENTS AND HIS COMPANIONS FOR SELF BENIFITS.
DO THE ADVANI IS NOT DOING THIS LIKE ‘RATHYATRA’ AND ‘BABARI MASJISD OR RAM JANMBHUMI’?

Yossarin is it NOT possible to file FIR against CNN-IBN or for that matter against karan thapar for False/Manipulating the statement.
Just see the extract of CNN-IBN published in their website and of Pioneer…..
Question asked Was:
CNN-IBN: All of you were there. This means that when Advani says he wasn’t consulted, he wasn’t informed, his recollection is faulty?
Reply by George according to CNN was:
George Fernandes: I don’t think that he was lying or anything.
But according to Pioneer Reply was:
George: Perhaps it means that at that point of time he might not have been there.
See how manipulative they are in fact worse than Prostitute who has to sell their body for livlihood But these guys have even sold their Soul.
we common man are worried due to inflation but our media is focussing on kandahar.
i fail to understand if jaswant had not gone with them then has the situation turn for the good.
in fact i salute jaswant who decided to go to kandahar and take risk of his life knowing well that it was ruled by taliban then who donot follow any rule.
Media is trying to sell itself…..
No check on it…….i am surprised that Media has to stoop so low in order to win it’s own Bread and Butter…
if our Media is so worried on Kandahar and believe bcoz of that terrorism started then why they are NOT asking this upa govt to hang AFZAL.???????????????
all of you should read arun shourie’s articles in the website- voiceofdharma.com
LKA is the top desh-drohi in the country, who could go to any depths and play any dirty trick to grab power. The examples of his double-speak, cheating, and unpatriotic & biased actions are countless. By preparing a memoir, he cannot whitewash his dirty political career. Ram help him!
Advani’s memoirs number one in non-fiction book sales.

Of all the reviews of Advani’s “My Country, My Life”,
that of Kushwant Singh stands out as the the crisp and apt one.”Ghost burial that was not to be!”
Through the bulky autobiography, Advani has striven hard to bury deep his reprehensible image of a Hindutva hardliner! And emerge therefrom with a welcome image of “secular-centrisist!”
Thanks to “his characteristc verbal calisthenics”, his pious wish continues to be so and the amiableness of a centrist remains conspicous by its absence!
Advani, over years, has emerged as :
“Think Tank”, “Ideas Maker”,”The Great Debater”,”The
EnviabeMassRaiser”,”ThEnigmaticInterviewee”of BJP!
In his all absobrbing passion for self-exultation,he unconscionably treads on the toes of many!
At one place he has the temerity to say that his acquisance only made Atalji become the PM!How could he play the role of a daef and blind to the fact that NDA Govt, survived because of the fact that “There Is No Alternative”(to Vajpayeeji).
He wants to impress that his strong opposition to the “crossborder terrorism”, Musharraf had to go back without signing an agreement at Agra in July,2001.
His party lost in the 2004 elections! He became the leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha.
Since then he and his party have been attacking the Congress led UPA govt.for “being soft on terrorism”!What, then, made Advani make a visit to Karach in June 2005 and make the cotroversial speech on Jinnah?
Further, during that visit the Advani couple were accompanied by Daughter,Prebta, son- Jayant and daughter-in-law- Geetika Advani. How comes that the last two are not to be seen in the book release functions?
The memoirs and Advani’s speeches are sure to make a counter-productive effect only!
did advani write about blue star operation in punjab india in 1984
As I know the Respected Mr. Advani. He is very clear visionery & great leadreship quality.I like him very much But I don’t uderstand why the people of india are understand his feeling on Jinnaha issue.every body knows that before partition Mr Jinaaha was a patriotic leader only for ignorence of his prsence he became the supportor of pakistan.I thouht mr advani will rais this issu in his book.I am waiting for his book & I hope they will also raise the question on our non loylist communist of india. The communist have only two agenda in mind 1.support china illeagal activity in india .2.make hurdle in indian progress.
