I assure you that the Government of India will take all necessary steps to safeguard the fundamental rights and liberties of all sections of our society and protect their religious freedoms as enshrined in the constitution. Please be assured that we will not tolerate any efforts aimed at disturbing the communal harmony or secular fabric of our country
That was the Prime Minister’s response to a letter addressed to the Prime Minister by Mrs Gladys Staines, whose husband was killed in Orissa a few years ago, expressing anguish at the recent incidents in Orissa.
So as the Prime Minister welcomes the new year expressing anguish and concern to a foreigner with promises of zero tolerance it is important to pay attention to how much time the Prime Minister has actually spent all through 2007 in expressing anguish and concern to victims of Terrorism and what specific promises of Zero Tolerance did he make to the kith and kin of these victims.
The Press Information Bureau Lists 13,500 press releases with references to Manmohan Singh.
Only 361 of these have anything to do with relation to Terrorism, Terrorists or Terror in general.
Only 15 of these with any reference to the victims.
Offstumped has analyzed each of these 15 releases to see if the Prime Minister had ever written to anyone expressing anguish and concern and if he ever made any promises of zero tolerance.
Offstumped could not find a single instance.
So here is a Prime Minister who can find time for the Haj Goodwill Team, who can find time tolose sleep over Haneeff in far away Australia, who can find time to write to Gladys Staines but has no time to express any anguish and concern to any of the victims in the multiple attacks of mass terror during his nearly 4 years in office.
But then what can one expect from a Prime Minister who believes in merely paying lip service to Anti-Terrorism every year on 21st May 2007.
SAY NO TO LIP SERVICE ON ANTI-TERRORISM

Its too much to expect from a bench-warmer PM to take a stand against terrorism…a spineless leader who takes his order from the reigning deity of 10 Janpath, and who btw, is just there till Raul Baba is ready to take over the reins and kick him aside…throwing some crumbs of World Bank/UN posting as a reward for grovelling at their feet!
I am not surprised that this creature of a PM has found time out of his busy scgedule to send in a reply to a foreigner…this moron is more concerned with what the whiteys’ view of India’s internal affairs are than what the Indian masses think. Just goes on to show…where his ultimate loyalties lie…surely not with India or its hapless citizens!
Nice job Yossarin. I know that you will disagree with me but this, to me,in the end is a Dhimmi’s reaction to his anti Hindu masters for whom even sympathy to victims is unacceptable. Singh only knows too well how to keep his masters in good humour.

Most politicians believe that the Muslim masses support Islamic terrorists like LeT and HUJI, that explains their soft stance on Islamic terror.
What a great New Year gift for CRPF & folks of Rampur, UP…:(

7 CRPF personnel killed in militant attack
Tuesday, 01 January , 2008, 11:22
Rampur (UP): At least seven CRPF personnel and a civilian were killed when heavily armed militants stormed a Central Reserve Police Force camp here in the wee hours on Tuesday.
Armed with AK-47 rifles and grenades, the militants attacked the CRPF group centre at around 2:20 am, CRPF and police officials said.
The security personnel and police patrolling the area intercepted the attackers leading to a fierce gun battle in which seven CRPF jawans and a civilian were killed, they said. The civilian appeared to be a rickshaw puller, senior superintendent of police Sanjiv Gupta said.
The number of militants who attacked the camp was not immediately known. Security officials were unable to confirm the casualty on the side of militants.
The area had been cordoned off and the combing operation was on, they said.
The attack comes about 40 days after a series of blasts ripped through three court premises in the state killing 13 people.

Now, lets see what the moron PM and his coterie of nincompoop colleagues have to say?
A nice thought but consider this…
Until the RSS, VHP, Shiv Sena, Bajarang Dal and assorted grps are also considered “trouble-making”, tho they disguise it with a respectable layer…
I doubt we will see any progress on what you write about. Considering a blance has to be achieved in some way i think the status quo atm is exactly just that. Now you will call it appeasement and rightly so.
If the BJP finds it in themselves to put their own house in order we might see some positive moves on this front. Only then will it be that much harder to let these terrorists off the hook.
I think Indian Government should be pretty ruthless in weeding these Terrorists out, and not wait till the time some national leader perishes from their hands…..

UPA sarkar has been disaster unmitigated for internal and external security.
It is no secret that external powers, hyenas on the prowl, will leave no chance untaken if a nation’s leadership shows weakness. Recall the spineless Carter administration. The Shah’s overthrow in Iran, the soviet invasion of Afghanistan both happened then precisely because no striong action or reaction was feared from Dhimmi Carter.
Likewise, with MMS at the helm, we see chaos engineered all around us (Nepal, Lanka, Burma, BD) and inside our lands too (Maoism, Tableeghi jamaat congregations in Azamgarh, blasts across several cities, Nandigram). No prizes for guessing there’s causality at work here, not mere coincidence.
Thanks for calling terrorism by its name. All this ‘militant/ insurgent/ miscreant’ kinda labels the Angrezi media gives these killers is sick indeed.
Shall write more later. Have a nice day and a productive new year!
I say we are in for bigger trouble…with elections approaching in 2009…our secular sarkar will go out of its way to appease their voters..so we might have dodge a couple of explosions and watch these sods crying foul and doling out our own money to us…as if they were doing a favor…
